Hi all, I've been vaping for a while now and recently moved into sub-ohm and RBA territory. I've got an Atlantis and a kayfun lite plus v2 clone from m-vapes.

My questions relate to the Atlantis. Firstly I was using it today on my Cloupor Mini having swapped the KFL off it. The first puff I had, the watts were down at 11ish. The Atlantis fired no probs with a voltage of around 3.7v if I recall correctly. I'm aware that the Atlantis requires 20-30W, so is it dangerous to use it under 20W or over 30W for that matter? (I put it straight back to 20w after that!)

i am planning on putting the Atlantis on my IPV2X 60W and keeping the Cloupor just for the KFL, but just wondered.

Secondly, I appreciate the Atlantis is designed for sub-ohm vaping. I will be having a go at rebuilding a coil in due course with it as I like the organic cotton builds. If I built a coil of say 1.4ohm, will that have any disastrous effect on the usage other than potentially vapour/flavour?

excuse my ignorance but I didn't pay much attention in physics!

Shouldn't be any danger from hitting it with low power - you just won't get much of a hit from it. On a regulated mod you probably won't be able to go over 30w as most will sense the resistance and prevent it - at least that's the case with what I currently have.
edt - oops, my Atlantis was on a 30w device so it couldn't go higher - just stuck it on another and it did - took a hit at 35 and it was fine. Don't know if I would do it on a regular basis or not as I'm liking how it hits at the 27 range.

Brilliant, thanks guys. Sadly it appears my Cloupor mini is defective as it won't charge from the mains on a USB lead!

what's the mah on the battery? and what are you charging from?

I've got dual 18650s in my box mods - some with 2500mah and some 3100mah
charging those 3100s on-board from the PC takes forever - there's only 500ma going to 2 batteries. they charge a lot faster if I remove and put them on the regular charger. the 2500s take a fair amount of time on-board as well. most wall warts have outputs of 450-500ma but some do 1000

I've used
2500mah 30A Efest
2500mah 20A efest and
3100mah 20A efest from memory.

I'm charging from a mains USB adaptor, which has previously worked with my IPV2 and istick no problems.
I have a normal 18650 charger which charges all the batteries fine, it just seems to be the Cloupor that isn't charging them properly. Wierdly, the Cloupor shows a charging battery when the USB is connected whether there's a battery in or not!
