Aspire Atlantis on iTazte 134?

TL;DR info in bold

I am not new to vaping, but new to the world of sub-ohm coils. I know that you want to have proper information on sub-ohm coils before you start using them, and I figured this forum may be the place to get that knowledge. For a while now I have been vaping an Aspire Nautilus on my iTazte 134 mod. Once the new BVC came out for the Nautilus Mini, I purchased those and began vaping on that. The new coils made more difference than I ever could have imagined. This has gotten me very curious about new tanks and the possibility of sub-ohm vaping. Would I need to buy a new mod (besides my 134) in order to vape a sub-ohm tank like the Aspire Atlantis? Or can my current mod handle sub-ohm? Thanks!

If you have extra time, I would love an explanation of what sub-ohm is all about, and why certain mods cannot vape them.

I think it's 0.8 Dice. So it's still a no. It also has a 5amp limit that I can remember, which makes sense with the 0.8ohm minimum.

Forgot to add, if you want to learn all about sub-ohm vaping, I'd suggest checking out the Sub-Ohm section of the forum. In particular the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-discussion-safety-battery-info-warnings.html has some great resources.

And welcome to the forum, good that you are asking the right questions to help yourself understand and keep safe :toast:

If you want to start sub ohm vaoing you really should invest in the set up. If you are going to sub ohm you will be opening a whole new door to vaping and will want to probably want to build your own coils. I used to vape on an Aerotank, then started to rebuild the kanger coils, then modified the tank. I got a Magneto mech and igo w from a friend and started building coils for dripping. Never looked back. You should find a vape store near you to get a hands one impression, then utilize this site and watch tutorials. Be careful not to break the bank while seeking that perfect vape for yourself. Everyone is different. Right now I have a .9 ohm coil on a DNA 30, and its great, but my mech set up is what does it for me. Everyone is different with what works for them.
