Since I'm limited to posting in the newbie forum I'll post here. I just bought an Aspire Atlantis and love it. I've been vaping for about six months and quickly moved up to a rebuildables and loved my patriot w/ vanilla mod, but really wanted a tank. After using a friend's Atlantis I bought one and it arrived yesterday. Stock, the airflow is restricted and the flavor is muted. Today I removed the air control ring in my hand with a hammer and an allen wrench, resulting in much more airflow. I removed the existing coil and ALL wicking material and spitback screen, then rebuilt a horizontal coil, placed it inside the empty coill body placed the 5/32 drill bit through the holes and through the coil to hold it in place put it back together, then wicked the cotton through the hole, all according to a couple Youtube videos. 24 guage kanthal, 6 wraps brought me to .4ish ohms. All the air flow holes are exposed and the thing is every bit as good as an rda in both flavor and cloud production. The tank is a little small but sure beats dripping every few hits!!

rebuilding the coil takes the same time as a dripper if not less, no tiny holes and screws to mess with. And my dripper needed to have the holes drilled out too. As far as the Goblin goes, I never heard of it till after I ordered the Atlantis. I was looking at the orchid a few months ago, and all of a sudden there are alot more options. A bigger tank on the atlantis would be my only refinement but I can live with it. I'm not the most handy guy in the world and I can rebuild these coil heads no problem. By the next time I need a new atty, who knows what will be available by then.
