Hi,

my mom is going back to vaping after quitting for a good while.
She had the most basic Aspire Clearo with BDC coils back then (don't know the model but a year old).

Many advancements have been made since then in the vaping industry and I was wondering what would you guys could suggest as a new tank?
I got many unused BVC coils for her because I switched to a Subtank Mini to rebuild.
What would be the best price/quality Aspire tank compatible with BVCs (1.8's)

or.. if you have any other suggestions I'll take them :p

Thanks guys, hoping my mom can make the full switch this time :p

The aspire nautilus or nautilus mini is a great tank, it uses bvc coils too though i think they are different. I am pretty aure its only the nautilus bvc coils not older bvc alas. 1.6 or 1.8 ohms, 8 to 11 watts.

Still it has fantastic flavour and having both that and subtank mini, kayfun lite and kabuki... My pref would be kabuki, kayfun, nautilus, subtank mini. The subtank is well liked but personally i find it a bit harsh and yeah theres more vapour but less flavour. I think the kaubuki/nautilus has a much better balance.

Sweetvapes has the auth nautilus bvc coils ten bucks a pack.

Ok cool guys.

Do you think the older CE-5 BDC is compatible with the BVC's I got?
I saw they have a new CE-5 which is compatible with them and both tanks look the same..
She had two of those as a starter to switch flavor, which I think is good for a beginner like her..
Then I could at least get her started with that until she wants to go for a 30-40$ tank.

If the BVC coils you have are for the Nautilus, they aren't compatible with the Aspire CE5 or Aspire Nova tanks. The non-nautilus coils will work in those, and you may want to use the Aspire Nova as a transition. All of these are available at a number of vendors, some at pretty steep discounts. Good bang for the buck!

Here are some examples -

If your coils are for a Nautilus, then that's what you'll need. Either way, glad she's making the switch!
