What color is the light? According to the instructions for the battery, if both orange and blue LED's flash 3 times and then it goes into sleep mode, that means your atty has a short in it. If the battery shorts while charging, both LED's will flash 6 times. If just the orange LED lights up and flashes 15 times, that means your battery voltage is too low (less than 3.2 volts).

I am having a weird issue with my Aspire CF SUBΩ Battery. The battery part seems to be working just fine. It lights up and charges as it should. The problem is when any tank is on it, it doesn't do anything but light up. I have tried new coils and cleaning out the tanks. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

well if it doesn't do anything different when the tank is on compared to when the tank is off, chances are the centerpins are not making contact.

That's what I was thinking. It did it with my other tank as well. Not sure how to fix it. I guess it's time for an upgrade. :p
Take a look at the center pin on the battery and see if it might have been pushed down too far? If you have some tweezers or a small screwdriver you can see if you can pry it up a little (making sure NOT to hit the fire button when you're doing this).

Yes I tried both tanks on a different one and they worked perfect.

the centerpin on power devices like the cf battery can get pressed in too far down, especially if you overtighten.
once it gets pressed down too far, when you screw on a tank, the centerpin on the tank might not make contact.
it's one of the biggest problems with vape hardware.
it is the reason people use mods with adjustable center pin.

Dang I tried it and still the same. I msged Aspire and they had me check if the battery was defective by doing the same with a wire. It set off the Short Circuit Protection and turned off and went into sleep mode. They said it wasn't the battery.

with the mod off, you can try to prise up the centerpin using a toothpick or a small screwdriver.

Here is a picture of my CF SubOhm battery. As you can see, the 510 connector pin is raised by about 1/8" above the white insulator. If I push the pin down (it is spring loaded), it will go all the way down until the pin is flush with the insulator. If you look at yours and the pin is flush with the insulator, then that means the pin is stuck. Try to loosen it with a toothpick or small screwdriver.

This is a stupid question but when I use the tweezers is the center pin supposed to move from side to side and twist?
There should be a little play side to side, but it should not turn at all. Since the center pin is square, when it gets pushed down the center pin will fit inside a square hole in the insulator.

I pushed on it and it is right where it should be and there is just a little play from side to side. I pushed down on it and it pops right back up but it still doesn't work.
