I just purchased an Aspire Triton tank and Aspire CF Sub battery. The battery did not come with a charger. I see online that the Aspire charger has an output of 4.2V 1000mah. I'm using a generic charger that has an output of 4.2V 420mah. Will there be any issues with charging because of this? Will I still get a full charge? Could it harm the battery? Thanks.

howdy - and welcome

hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in, but I believe that it should charge safely, just will take a little longer - according to specs i checked, the cf usually charges at .5 amps (500 mA) but the charger is capable of 1000 mA also for the esp 30w device that aspire makes as well... and the ratings would be in mA, not mah (mA is current, mah is capacity, if that make sense (milliamps vs milliamp hours))

Hey hey no they sell em without the charger as well. Most peeps are saying that charging from the wall is faster. Hey i just noticed that my battery finished charging! However, the light on the charger is still red. It's supposed to be green when charging is complete. *Update - I left it on the charger for an extra hour or so and the charger light finally turned green.
