What chargers are you guys using? I've gone through three chargers with this battery. The first one got stuck and broke on the battery but I was able to unscrew it off. The second one charged the battery but it took over 8 hours. Afterwards, it stopped working.

The third one I have now also takes forever to charge this battery. It's a 420mah ego USB charger. I use it with a phone wall adapter. I put the battery on it yesterday around 4pm, light on the battery was orange. Around 10am today the charger light was green and the battery light was not blue, it was off.

I'm trying to understand why aspire didn't include a charger. First the ego USB chargers don't have non recessed screw on sections. You can break the plastic around them trying to screw this giant battery on them. The cords are short and leaves this battery hanging down. That's how my first one broke, the lead got pried out of the plastic casing.

Anyone else, how long does this battery take to charge? I've contacted vapor dna where I purchased it and they told me use another wall adapter which I have been doing. Still takes ages to fully charge. Wrote them again but their inbox was full. I think my battery may be faulty.

If the light is green on the usb charger then its done charging. The blue light on the power button shuts off to protect from overcharging. My issue Im currently dealing with is. My light on the charger stays red and never turns green. Im currently trying to figure this out on the forums. However it sounds like yours is ok. You also know its fully charged if you plug it in and it flashes the blue light 10 or 20 times.

My charger does that sometimes too remains red. But according to aspire the battery should charge in about 4 hours. I always need to leave mine overnight in order for it to complete.

I use an ego charger, but previous to getting the subohm I had already modified the charger. Most chargers have the tip recessed into a the base so the threads are not exposed. I took it apart and reassembled it so the threads were exposed so I could clean off the black gunk that seems to get in any e cig or charger threading. Inside the standard ego charger is a tiny board or chip with two wires soldered to the 510 connector, which is easy to re seat. It was filthy with that stuff and after cleaning with some alcohol performed much better. If you don't have a good clean connection these chargers wont perform well, or know when the battery is actually charged.
like any thing Ecig......some maintenance may be required

Any update on this? Mine does the same thing. The light on the battery itself goes out like it's supposed to, but the LED on the charger stays red and never turns green. My battery *appears* to be fully charged at this point, but I'm hoping that there's not something wrong with the charger.

My charger does this too. The battery is charged though. I cleaned the contacts on the chargee and haven't seen it stay red for a while. It did do it again at one point but the battery actually is charged if the blue led goes out.
