Hey guys, so over the last few months I've tried the Nautilus, the plastic CE5-S's and now the glass ET-S and no matter what tank I use, the same thing keeps happening. It's good for like 10 puffs then they start gurgling and not working. I gave up on the nautilus awhile ago but I was really hoping the ET-S's would be a good backup tank system for me.
I've tried BDC coils from Aspire. Tried some knockoffs from Vape Only. And today I just tried some genuine Aspire BVC coils. And no matter which I use, the gurgling starts. Well actually the BVC's wouldn't wick the juice at first. It sat for 45 minutes and all I'd get is heat from the coil firing but no vapor. So I did what I've seen other people suggest and do a few gentle hits on it without firing the coil to get the juice in there. That seemed to get it to work, and it worked great and had SO much vapor. But then in about 5 minutes, gurgling and failure.

I don't get it. I see Aspire being praised all over the place and great reviews everywhere, especially of the BVC coils system. Every review I read on the ET-S praises it's simplicity and ease of use.
I'm not exactly new to vaping, I've tried many clearos and am in love with my EMOW and protanks, They've never given me problems like this.

Am I missing something simple? Do you have to inhale differently with aspire than kanger? Everything is screwed in correctly, I don't over tighten anywhere or under tighten or anything. I use juice that ranges in PG/VG from 20%PG to 20%VG and it doesn't make a difference. I don't get juice in the center pipe, I even roll up some TP and slide it through there after I've filled to make sure nothing squeaked in.

What the .... is even going on? I don't chain vape, I don't inhale hard, just gently and letting the atomizer do the work for you.

How can all genuine tanks, from multiple stores be screwing up this constantly? I mean if I bought all my stuff from the same place I could say hey, they must be selling junk. But I've gotten these things from all over the place!

Gah!

I don't get much gurgling from my BVC's, but when I do, I just...

1) take the tank off, place tissue underneath, and blow it out.

2) clean out the connection on the battery end as well

3) remove the drip tip and clean out any juice in the fitting and the tip itself.

That usually solves the problem. It is surprising how little juice is needed to create gurgling.

Wish I could be more help.

Gah!

sorry to hear you're having troubles

what power are you using ??

I'm new to the 'bvc' (about a month)
and I find that it needs to be in the proper heat range
USUALLY 8.0watts sets it automatically

but if I don't apply enuff heat, the bvc floods and gurgles

then if I over heat it, I come to believe the ceramic fiber shrinks (somewhat)
again allowing flooding

so the old rule of thumb add 2.0 to your coil Ω's for ball park volt setting
eg: 1.6Ω + 2.0 = 3.6volts (8w will generally do this for you automatically)

so something to try, be aware of what your power setting is,
and try to stay in the range I mentioned and see if that increases your coil performance...

it won't happen immediately - give it some time

good luck , keep us informed

:)

Trying one of these 1.8Ω BVC and its a very tight draw. I have the full size Nautilus with it at the largest air hole. The BDC ones worked good with a very loose air draw.
What's wrong with these?

we were talkin about the small bvc
Nautilus uses the big bvc

I'd say it s the quality of the 'coil' itself
some are just hit-n-miss

keep old and try a new one...

good luck
