Aspire nautilus keeps blowing coils

Just as title states, after a day or so of vaping (not constantly), more like 12-18 hours. Pop goes the coil.

I've gone through 3 in 2 days. Using it on man MVP2 @ between 8 and 9 watts on the 3rd air hole. (2)1.6 ohm and (1) 1.8 ohm both didn't matter
What am I doing wrong?

The coil still reads on my device but I can't vape anything. If it matters I'm using space jam Andromeda e juice.

You're saying with the tank mounted you can press the P and U buttons at the same time and it still reads the ohms of the coil? Does the fire button light up when you press it?

Yes and I can hear the coil crackle. JUST Can't Vape it

Have you tried putting less e juice in it? Maybe it's flooding? If it is reading on the MVP, the coil is still intact. In my experience the coils for that get gunned up more quickly than other setups as well. Is your juice a dark juice? What's the VG/PG?

It's a lighter juice color. When this last coil stopped working last night I only had 3ml in the tank

Me...I'd just give up on the "old" Nautilus coils and get some BVC's (Bottom Vertical Coils) for your Nautilus.

Yes, they will.

The BVC definitely work in the older 5 ml Aspire Nautilus. I have them in right now.

i have 10 nautiluses (not counting the 2 unopened). everyone has a 1.6 bvc in it save one, it has a 1.8 bvc in it.

well, yes! the 1st coils were problematic. they had problems if you went above 10.5 watts. just start low on the bvc's, open up your air flow, and they break in very nice. once they are broken in, i'd give them a few hours, you can really go to town on these.

they are like stew, though. they taste better the next day.
