i use bvc 1.8 ohm with 18mg nic menthol ( fairly light color) with 1800mah vv aspire battery on 4v. i dismantled the coils and the one on the left i have used for 2 days and has started tasting different and dif throat hit but still produces good vapor. it is black. idk if this is normal since ive heard aspire's bvc is heat resistant and not easily burnt. the coil on the right i have used for 2 days and same result but this time i tried cleaning it by washing first then dry burning. looks like i burnt the coil and wick.

i am extremely disappointed and frustrated.. i have went through 2 replacement packs of 5 bvc and all have never lasted me over 2 days (~3-4ml on 3.8-4v) anyone have solutions for this?

Someone else also has problems with BVC coils... I'm starting to wonder if it's not a QC issue, but here's a few pointers:

High PG juices are thicker and harder to wick. You did not mention the PG/VG ratio of your juice, but trying a different juice could be a good idea.

When you fill the tank after installing a new atomizer (coil), let it sit standing up for a good 5 minutes so the juice wicks. I personally just put about 4 drops straight into the atomizer before filling the tank and I can use it right away.

If you notice the volume of vapor going down on you or if you get a dry hit, take a few "primer" puffs without hitting the button. Also, using a smaller air hole helps wicking more juice.

Like Torch said, it is important to make sure the wicking material is well saturated with the BVC coils. The shop I work in sells Nautilus, and I have yet to see a return on a defective BVC coil, but that dosen't discount a possible bad run or bad batch from Aspire. I have heard of counterfeits, especially if buying online. BVC coils sell for between 3-4 dollars retail. I would be suspicious of 5 packs for 12 bucks. Good luck.
