I'm sorry if this isn't the right response or the right way to rmake spend on here, but has anybody had trouble with the coil with this ecig tank? I have an aspire nautilus mini and every single coil I've had for it burns in less than a day and then every other drag burns my throats and my lungs terribly!
Which ohm coil and how many watts are you pushing through it? It sounds like you are running too many watts through it.

Sounds like it is not wicking of your power is to high, could be using to high of a VG juice. Once burned it is trash. Could also try some non fired draws before it burns. Need more info.

I use 50/50 pg/vg, I try to prime my coils as long as I can, do you think maybe my battery just sucks? I'm sorry I'm still really new

The 1.8 ohm coils are rated at 12-16 watts and the 1.5 ohm coils, that come with the tank, are rated at 14-20 watts. So in either case you're a bit high. Your 50/50 juice should work fine. Are you priming the coils, by dripping some juice in the top and sides of the coil before you install it?
Ohhh I didn't know I was high! Yeah that's how I prime them, do I do it wrong? Also is there a tank you can think of that works better for higher watts? I like 25 watts, that's how someone taught me but I really don't know that much about this stuff so thank you!

I prime by letting the coil soak for an hour, and also taking a few dry unheated vapes through it, then the first real vapes I take are short all to get the coil working good. Once you burn a coil by using it too soon, it will have that taste forever.

Try turning your watts down to 15 and see if that helps. I use 1.5 and 1.8 ohm coils and end up around 15 watts with each.

Are you sure you are getting the juice flow turned over to the vape side from the drip side after you fill the tank? I had similar issues with accidentally turning off the juice flow and getting dry hits after a while. Sometimes I just forgot to turn it after filling, and sometimes I turned the top just enough to gradually close off the juice. If you catch it on the first dry hit, you can usually save the coil by letting it soak up more juice before hitting power to it again.

I also agree with the others that you may need to turn down the power on your mod. I generally run mine closer to 8-10 watts, and it's not a bad idea to start lower when you are breaking in a new coil and juice so that you can bump up the power as needed to find the sweet spot.

I run 1.8Ω coils at 13 watts and they work good for me. It is always best to start low and work up as needed.

Sorry Burnie. This reply was for you.
I knew that :) got some in my cart for the 10% off tomorrow & Tuesday. (Code: AUTUMN) :D

I think you will like it. I hated to have to refill so often with the 2ml tank. Ordered it last Thursday and got it today. :D

Got one last week to replace my Nautilus mini--just wanted to try something new and was sick of filling it from the bottom. Unfortunately, it's been a big disappointment.

I vape at pretty low wattage, so I expect what comes with that. But compared to the mini, the flavor is notably inferior. The bigger issue though is the mouthpiece. Even vaping at 11 or 12 watts, the tiny, thin drip tip immediately gets too hot. As in, two or three hits and it starts burning my lips. Which means it's effectively unusable. Switched back to my Nautilus mini and I don't expect to use the X again.

Even though it's very hard to get, the heating issue goes away when you switch to the 4 ML kit. The vapor temperature is much closer to my Aspire Nautilus. I was frustrated to find no one carries the 4 ML kit. The ones that do ,runs out of stock very quickly. So I went to Aspire website directly and ordered 4 kits. Now I think I went overboard. Keep your 2ML tank, you mind find that that 4 flex power kit might works for you, if you are willing to built your own coils. I will post my built in a few days. I have been chasing a MTL alternative that I can use MAX VG juice, have bought both the Cleito regular and the Nautilus X. With the recent regulation, getting coils might be an issue in two years. And Nautilus X came out after the regulated deadline. Unless Aspire is willing to fork out 1 million with FDA, Nautilus X probably won't be supported in the US in the future. Heck, two years is a long time, we might be vaping from our phone by then. Happy Vaping !! :)

Nothing like that little inexpensive thing- as long as your coils are BVC not BDC.
I hated the nautilus x. I vaped on it for an evening and put it in the drawer. Less than a week later, I try it one last time, and now it's one of my favorites. I've vaped it at 25 watts, 20 watts, and 17 watts. All great. I M-L vape and this lets me take a nice lung vape when I feel like one. Let the atty soak for 2 days or so , then play with it. I also added a 14 mm tip and can stick my 510 tips in it. nautilus x has their own size'
Yes that clearomizer takes bvc
