I would think it has to do with the coil design. The aspire bdc's are also very popular and have been said to work better than other clearomizers, so apparently Aspire has found a way to make better performing coil heads than the competition at this time. Things change often in the ecig arena though. Personally, I switched to the Aspire bdc's and have bought 2 Aspire Nautilus tanks and I use them all the time. They have worked flawlessly for me and provide good vapor and good flavor. This is just my experience and my opinion and hopefully some others will post on this too so you can get other viewpoints.

I have used both the Nautilus and the Aerotank and I've gotta say the Nautilus is just a much better product. I find it to perform much better and the AFC on it is more functional. I've yet to experience any leaks with the Nautilus which is something I've experienced with every Kanger tank, Aerotank included. Also, I ended up selling my Aerotank to a friend and we ended up getting the AFC stuck by trying to untwist it from his Vamo. It took a set of pliers to get it loose but damn was it a pain in the ... trying to manually loosen it.

I'd always suggest getting the Nautilus over any Kanger tank in the market at this time, just try to wait for them to get on sale, I got mine when they were selling for $24.99 so just wait it out for deals to come around.

I've been using Aspire exclusively now for the last 3 months without a single problem till tonight. I had one head with a bad seal on the O ring it is the first time I've actually sucked juice up through the mouth piece. I checked and it was tight so I pulled it and the O ring was broken. I have used that head now for about 6 weeks so kind of expected it to die.

I have two nautilus tanks and I really love them. They work great. Personally I do think I get better flavor in other tanks but other than that its great. I do have a question though. Im pretty new to vaping and ive always rinsed heads off under water when i change juice, let them sit over night and then use them again when i switch juices again. But with the Nautilus the heads seem to stop working when i rinse them off. Has anyone else noticed this? My only other option seems to be to just reuse the heads when i change juices but when i do that I get a gross taste from the flavors mixing. What is the best way to clean nautilus heads?

The Nautilus is probably the best, most trouble free, beginner to intermediate entry level tank, that has come down the Vape line. 5 ml capacity, 4 different size air holes to choose from, that breathes through the side and not the 510 connecter, and able to wick well at 10 watts. Think an all stainless steel tank section would be sweet, but that just my preference. If you don't want to build, this is as good as it gets imho. I bought one just to try out so that I could honestly recommend it to new vapers, and I do recommend the Nautilus.

That said, it does sit in my vape accessory box because I am rba all the way, and it just can't compete with a well built rba tank system. Though have read that it can be rebuilt easily and steps up it's performance some.

I'm really liking my Nautilus tanks, but I'm keeping my guard up. As long as the replacement coils are as good as the ones that came with the tank I'll be happy for a very long time.

Making the journey down the clearoline from Evods > Protank 2 > T3s > Aspire BDC, my initial 5 day impression of the Nautilus is that it's a better vape quality then those previous experiences. Big fan of the air control, with a slight improvement in taste and notable one in vapor production.

That said, same goes for me with the above quote. Big fan of the Aspire coils too....when they work. As behind all the rave reviews you'll see on them there's also plenty of hit or miss feedback on the replacement coils. My own experiences mirroring that as well (just loaded a dud myself earlier tonight, so that's $2.00+ down drain :glare:). Hoping they got that sorted out with the Nautilus line.

After owning every pro tank and seeing the reviews on the Nautilus I have to say, I want one and I wish I would have never bought any of these pro tanks! I have made the move to RBAs and RDAs now but I always said i wish my pro tanks would have worked better, now i see it doesnt matter because the Nautilus tank blows them all out of the water, I want one.

starting from protank 1,2, mini 1,2, mini davide, hypertank, and aerotank i must say its only about day 4 or 5 using stock coil 1 still performs excellent! it really outperforms all of my previous tanks even my aerotank. great build quality, great flavor, great capacity(5mil) lasts very long, great airflow control 4 settings, decent throat hit, and heavy amounts of clouds. i put all my other tanks away except my protank 1 and my aerotank to use when im out. i think any vaperer should atleast try it once for themselves, you be the judge. i just hope the aspire nautillus dual coils last along time because right now they cost about $16 to $19 buck for 5pack which is quite alot. earlier i purchased another one and some coils for my backup, hopefully they should go down in price in a month or so. i am totally in love with this thing, the experience is what i get, you will to. happy vaping all.

I'm really enjoying my Nautilus....great vapor and flavor...capacity is fantastic....and I really like the look. My only complaint is the current cost of replacement heads. I'm a Kanger user....original PT's, T3s and MT3s....so I'm used to paying $6 for a 5 pack of heads. Hopefully this will change and they'll come down sub $10 for a 5'er....

Dice...what kind of cat is that?

I got a Nautilus right when they came out, first week in January, paid a premium. Here are thoughts:
1. Large tank, excellent versus the old (can't believe I'm saying that) pro tank 1s and 2s. The larger size is a plus
2. Works well on the provari mini, the adjustable air flow works great
3. The Nautilus looks good on anything except ego batteries...
4. The coils that came with the product, one worked, one was bad, (at least the taste was always "metal" like)
5. Ordered more coils, they are expensive, hope they come down like the pro tank coils or the aspire bdc coils
If you can get one for less than $25, that is a big bonus....I purchased at $34 for the "privilege" of having one first....oh well, every week vaping is a learning experience. I will say that the ease of using the Nautilus is worth it.
Hope this helps.
Be safe

I'm so glad I found this thread because I've been searching for a SS tank replacement for my Nautilus. I haven't broken mine, but I definitely want a metal one. I have advanced into mech, but I have 3 or 4 'pack and plays' for when I'm on the go. I use my VTR with the Iclear 30s, or my x6 with a lightup clearo if I want something flashy and fun, and my babbbbbbbies, my pipes. Kamry Epipe with a Cirrus carto tank, and my hammer copy with a nautilus.... Right now, the hammer is my fave... the copies didn't get terribly wonderful reviews, but I've got the one from HCigar which seems to be better than the tobecco one. The battery vent holes line up just fine, sometimes the 350s are a little difficult to get out of the mod, but if you remove the square efest sticker on your battery it's much better. my button is just fine, and there were no scuffs or anything on it when I got it.

I LOVE the nautilus. it outperforms every tank (not counting drippers or RBA's) that I own. My cirrus carto might be a lil better on flavor but I loooooove it.
