So, been using protanks, original, mini, 2 and 3 and been getting frustrated with a lack of performance.

based on endless outstanding reviews I decide to take the plunge into something different.

The nautilus.

Was very excited for for its arrival. MASSIVE disappointment, really big let down.
seems rather weak, not too bad on the throat but not great, good on taste, poor on vapour.

tried both coils, various voltages, am I missing something, what's so good about this thing?

one thing I have noticed is the connector between the head / batter connection is rather wonky / offset
could that be the problem? Shouldn't it be flush? I'm thinking I might have a dud?

any assistance much appreciated

I purchased one of these a few days ago because of all the good things I heard about them. Very disappointed as well, both heads that came with mine didnt make it through a tank of juice. I was using it on my mvp v2 between 3.3-3.7 volts, not high at all but halfway through a tank it tasted very off/burnt flavor.

From what I'm gathering these heads as of now have a very high failure rate out of the box. I've heard people say maybe 30-40% of the heads theyve purchased have been duds and not worked properly.. I have yet to get replacement coils, so thank god I still have my mini PT2. But I hope I get some better coils when I order replacements, I hear of people getting 2-3 weeks from a head so idk we'll see. I dont wanna give up on this device yet..

So it's not just me after all.

My ratings out of 10 for my experience with it would be...
Flavour 8/10
Vapour 1/10
Throat hit 4/10

Very poor indeed apart from flavour.

My protank 2 is way better and even that's not brilliant, I'm going through heads too fast with that though.
cant comment on how long coils last with the Aspire because it didn't work right long enough to know

Just got mine yesterday. Half a tank and going fine. Running at 11w on my MVP 2. I do see lots of people saying the heads are not good. I used the Aspire BDC's from Smokeless Image for several months. Out of all the heads I received only had one DOA. And I have had heads last as long as a month.

I'm thinking I might just start making my own heads because I'm not having much luck with any I buy, especially Kanger.

I've had coils last 1 day with only light usage
