I have the Project Sub-Ohm SauceCode tank and I didn't really like the coils that came with it so I had a list of compatible coils to choose from thankfully:
  • Project Sub-Ohm BXDC Coil
  • Aspire Atlantis V1 Coil
  • Aspire Atlantis V2 Coil
  • Aspire Triton Coil
  • Aspire Triton 2 Clapton Coil
  • Eleaf Melo Coil
  • Starre Maganus Coil
  • Herakles by Sense Coil
  • Herakles gClapton Coil
I settled on the Triton at 0.4 ohms. I primed it up this morning and got it started on my iPV D2 with 6 nic juice at 70%VG/30%PG. With the stock DXDC coils (0.3) my sweet spot was 36w with open airflow. I can't seem to find the sweet spot with these coils. The flavor and cloud production is great, but I'm struggling to find the throat hit I'm looking for. I even cranked it up to 60w and still, just a very airy hit and I noticed the juice never seems to get hot (not that I'm looking for that, but it did happen with the stock coils). I took it back down to 50w with the airflow closed half way and it's giving me a better throat hit than before, but it's still not exactly what I'm used to or looking for. Any advice out there? And just so you know my preference, I like to take 3-4 second draws that give me a good throat hit, I don't like to take to 5-10 second draws like I see some users do.

Thanks!

I'd agree with bacon, try the 0.3 ohm coils and see if that helps. The difference between them and the 0.4s is highly noticeable. My Sig mini 30W has not trouble pushing out nice clouds with the 0.4, but it won't push the 0.3s. I have to use either my eLeaf 40W TC or my XCube II when I get thosse. Also, give their new Clapton coils a try. I've never gotten flavor production like they make from any other coil, ever. After a tank or two, they really lend themselves to a shorter hit, as well. They seem to give me burnt hits if I go longer than 3-4 seconds once they're properly broken in.
