I'd say my Steam Tribe black Kabuki clone from FT has slightly better build quality than my SS Kabuki clone, but the difference is negligible. Both work very well.

I tried Steam Tribe's "Kabuki" 1.8 ohm BVC heads from FT recently. Their actual coil resistance varies quite a bit from coil to coil. The one I'm currently using reads 1.2 ohms, and the one before that was 1.5 ohms. 1.5 to 1.6 ohms is typical for these "1.8" ohm coil heads. Not very consistent.

They do work though, and are a little cheaper than Aspire's coils, with one significant issue - flavors are noticeably muted. I don't like that, as it defeats one of the reasons I like using Aspire nautilus BVC heads in the first place.

Too bad I bought five 5-packs of these coil heads. Oh well. As I said, they do work, so I'll just have to use them up and put up with the muted flavor until they are all gone.

So, to sum up, the Steam Tribe Kabuki clones available on FT are good, and are less than $20, but their nautilus BVC head clones are not so good (though not completely terrible either). They are not worth $8.50 for a 5-pack.

Stick with the regular Aspire 1.6 or 1.8 ohm BVC heads. The 1.6 ohm ones can work particularly well in a Kabuki. I've tried the Claptons. They are overly sensitive and just don't last very long before they need to be switched out. You are better off in the long run using regular Nautilus BVC heads.
