Good point about just opening it a tiny bit, that is working nicely. Also note that aside from the whistle, opening it up all the way also got some fluid in my mouth. It was only one time, but it sucked. I think it was just the drastic change made it happen. But I'm going to keep it nearly shut just in case.

Oops, nearly fried my coil by playing with the fill/vape setting and accidentally using it with the setting on fill mode - noticed just in time to avoid permanent bad taste from the only 1.8ohm coil I've got!

How big is this thing compared to the OG Atlantis? My wife has been exclusively using the Atlantis v1 for months, and this looks like it could be a worthy successor for her.

I havent gotten my head round all the forum rules yet so I won't attempt to link directly to some sites image. But when I searched for the phrase 'triton atlantis aspire' in google image search, one of the top results showed the Triton with both Atlantis models side-by-side.

Very slightly taller appears to be the simple answer, though I don't have any Atlantis tanks myself to be 100% sure.

This may be my next upgrade as far as tanks go. I've been using my v1 Atlantis since December now and wouldn't mind something new. Then again I really want a black subtank to go on my black istick.

Yeah, I'll never understand why more companies don't just give us black tanks, or that dark charcoal metal at least. Maybe it's expensive since paint probably wouldn't work.

My mouth-to-lung 1.8ohm love affair with the Triton continues. To the extent that I was enjoying vaping zero nicotine juice with it for most of the day yesterday, and am probably going to have to reduce the amount of nicotine I have in my all-day juices for the very first time (have been on 1.2 pretty consistently since I started vaping).

It's special, to the extent that I'm surprised I haven't seen more people wetting themselves on the internet over it!

Agreed. I'm surprised at how relatively dead this thread is...maybe only like 6 people that are following this it seems.

Btw PaulBHC, that Vape101 deal is killer! I didn't realize that the coupon: 101triton was $10 off 39.99. So for 29.99, crazy good deal. By far the best price from a known vendor that I've seen. If anyone is looking to get one, I think this is the place. They shipped it out same day as well.

Does anyone know where to get replacement coils yet? I'm not seeing them for US vendors yet.

I won the aspire triton tank from a china vendor, so should get it in about a month, but can't complain as getting it for free, good to see positive reports on it, been mostly using kanger subtanks, so be good to see how the triton performs compared to the subtanks.

I did pay $8 for the RTA head too, as I'm not one who likes to be tied down buying coils.

After seeing the reviews, I've lost interest in the Triton. Has a couple of nice features but other than being new and shiny, it's nothing special.

I can't help properly because I am in the UK, but over here many of the suppliers who received Tritons at the start of the week also received 0.4ohm and 1.8ohm coils. Sounds like there were delays to 0.3ohm and RTA supplies though.

I managed to pick up a pack of 5x 1.8ohm coils, on the side of the box it says 'Best for mouth to lung vaping!'

Normally I'd moan about frivolous use of exclamation marks but in this case I think they are justified

They've also made a point of writing on the back of the packaging 'Compatible with Atlantis'.

Triton showed up a couple days early. So far so good, wife seems to be liking it. Only thing she's mentioned as a con is that it's louder than her Atlantis.
