4.2V,li-ion,the manufacturer haven't give us more specific info of the battery.

Finally, I got the Typhoon.
It contains a Li-Ion (not Li-Po) 2S1P battery, 8.4 Volt 2500 mah.
Seen the higher battery voltage, conducive to an higher conversion efficiency, I must say that the 100 W max output power is rather conservative, insuring very long life to this mod. Kudos to Aspire for setting an example for others to follow.
