Latest research on vaping and its safety.

Vaping uses a mist to deliver flavored nicotine eliquid to the lungs. The vapor itself is no different than any medical vaporizor uses for medical treatments. (propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin)

There is no smoke or combustion involved with e-cigarettes. It's the smoke and chemicals in cigarettes which causes cancer.

Nicotine is no different than caffeine. Its a stimulent. In high enough doses it can be a poison. Nicotine causes vasoconstriction (blood vessel shrinkage), so is not healthy for hypertension, cardiac or peripheral vascular disease.

Flavoring agents used are FDA approved for oral consumption, but there have not been adequate studies yet on the effects being inhaled.
