Hi, today we're taking a look at the Aspire Veynom EX. In this Test I will examine each of the characteristics that distinguish this item. I hope that at the end of this reading you can understand this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

► Aspire Veynom EX; First Impressions:
Veynom EX is Aspire's Pod Mod kit designed for vapers looking for great performance, adjustable lighting effects, multiple vaping modes, advanced safety features, high-end construction materials, and great vaping autonomy. The form factor is very ergonomic and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, the high-end finishes offer a premium feel to the touch. In addition to the Veynom EX model where it is possible to install an external 18650/20700/21700 battery, Aspire also offers users the Veynom LX which is completely similar. The only differences between Veynom EX and Veynom LX are in terms of size and the fact that Veynom LX uses a gigantic 3,200mAh integrated battery for power.

► Aspire Veynom EX; Three choices for the external battery:
By removing the magnetic door on the handle it is possible to install a 20700/21700 external battery or a classic 18650 battery using the adapter present in the package. The slot is made of black fireproof material and is marked with the polarities "* and -" for the correct insertion of the cells, furthermore there is a convenient strap to facilitate battery replacement operations. The Veynom EX door uses two powerful magnets and integrates firmly into the mod's design without any abnormal movement. Veynom EX manages to reach the remarkable power of 100W max.

► Aspire Veynom EX; Quick On/Off Switch:
The bottom of the Mod is made of soft rubber with a fine surface texture that faithfully reproduces a fingerprint, this feature adheres well to surfaces with a notable grip when standing, also the large section of the foot allows the Mod to remain upright easily without the risk of unwanted overturning. On the bottom there is a sliding button that allows you to quickly turn the device on or off. In use, this function is useful when you don't want to waste too much time before putting the Veynom in your pockets. Those who are used to 5 clicks on the fire button to start the device will have to remember that this switch is present under the Mod.

I obtained the "Silver" color version of the Veynom EX from Aspire for this test, this color is quite elegant, the silver color creates contrast with the top cap of the cartridge which is black, but also with the smoked display, and with the decorations in light leather present in the handle. The side profile of Veynom EX is elegant and smooth without any writing, there are only two screws clearly visible on each side. At the top you can see the two AFC slots (one on each side) the rotation of the cartridge allows the air flow to be adjusted simply and precisely.

► Aspire Veynom EX; Rear & Front View:
The handle part of my Veynom EX is covered with a soft light leather theme, the metal part is beautifully displayed and widens in the center where it houses the identifying writing "VEYNOM EX".

The front area is covered with a dark screen which houses the Fire button, the display, the "+ and -" adjustment keys and the charging port. All these elements are rationally arranged and make you feel comfortable while using Veynom EX.

The main screen interface displays; “BATTERY LEVEL”, “MODE”, “WATTAGE”, “VOLTAGE”, “CURRENT”, “RESISTANCE” and “PUFFS”.
Turning on the Mod is simple and immediate, just move the cursor button which is positioned on the bottom of the Mod. To turn off the device just move the cursor button towards the opposite side. To lock/unlock the settings, press the "+" and "-" keys at the same time, so even with the settings locked you can continue vaping. You can also decide to completely block the Mod by leaving it turned on, to do this press the Fire button three times, and to unlock the Mod repeat the operation.

Press the fire button and "+" button at the same time to enter the menu adjustment, now the mode flashes, press the "+"/"-" adjustment keys to select the output modes among AUTO, WATTS, VOLTAGE, BYPASS, CPS and TC-NI / TC-TI/ TC-SS. Long press the Fire button or wait 4 seconds to confirm and hold the setting.
In AUTO mode the chipset selects the appropriate power for each coil installed, avoiding setting errors for the user. You can set the power from 1 to 100W (default 5W) in steps of 0.5W at a time. You can set the Voltage from 0.5 to 9V (Default 4.65V) in steps of 0.001V. You can activate the BYPASS function to simulate the delivery of a Mech Mod. You can set 5 different CPS curves and you can set the TC (200-600°F 100-315°C).

The possibility of varying the colors of the LED which is integrated into the Fire button is very interesting. Press the Fire button and the "-" button at the same time
to adjust the LED effect between seven different options. Press "+"/'-" to adjust the brightness of the display on 33 levels. You can also completely deactivate the LED to save energy.

► Aspire Veynom EX; Thread Pod + Thread 510:
Veynom EX uses the classic circular cartridge system. Inside the compartment/pod there is a metal ring which is the support base for the magnets on the cartridge, this system is super safe and strong, you can lift the device by taking only the cartridge without the Mod coming off.

The Veynom cartridge can be replaced by a specific 510 adapter, this allows you to use any 510 atomizer. The 510 adapter for Veynom LX and Veynom EX can be purchased separately.

► Aspire Veynom EX; 5ml cartridge:
The Veynom circular cartridge is quite large and contains up to 5ml, its excellent transparency allows quick control over the internal level of e-liquid. The top cap has an integrated wide profile Drip Tip excellent for RDL/DL vaping, to access the tank for refueling it is necessary to unscrew the Top Cap with a quarter of a turn. After removing the cap you will have two holes for filling. The Veynom EX/LX cartridge is compatible with all BP Coils resistors, the coil is simply inserted with a light pressure from the bottom.

The airflow regulation system and the Veynom chipset are able to manage the entire Aspire BP Coils platform well, so you will have a wide choice of reliable and long-lasting resistors at your disposal, allowing you to freely choose your vape favorite; MTL, RDL and DL.

► Aspire Veynom EX; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
For this test I used one of my favorite e-liquids Hypnos by Tob with a VG/PG ratio of 70-30 and with 3mg/ml of boost.

• BP Mesh Coil 0.3Ω (30-40W): The ASP chipset with the Auto function sets this coil to 30W by default, I found the 35W setting to be ideal for me and with the airflow open at 50% , the vapor is very dense and the flavor is delicious, the throat hit is balanced and can be increased by closing the AFC. The air regulation is effective and simple, the vapor is never hot, however you can cool it further by opening the airflow. The formation of condensation is not excessive, so you can dry the pod compartment with a cloth at the end of the day and there will be no problems.

• 0.15Ω BP Mesh Coil (60-80W, pre-installed): The ASP chipset with Auto function sets this coil to 50W by default, I found the 55W setting to be ideal for me and with the airflow open almost at maximum, the clouds of vapor generated are really voluminous and the flavor is excellent, the throat hit can be increased by closing the AFC. The air regulation is effective, the vapor is never hot, however you can cool it further by opening the airflow. Condensation isn't excessive, so you can dry the pod compartment with a cloth at the end of the day. The excellent performance of this coil goes hand in hand with a rather high e-liquid consumption, but this is absolutely normal.

Of Veynom EX I particularly appreciated the aesthetically beautiful futuristic design which is accompanied by excellent finishes and excellent ergonomics in use, the ASP chipset has many functions and communicates with a colorful and bright display full of information. The triple choice of external cells 18650/20700/21700 guarantees a great opportunity to enjoy long periods of vaping even with high selected powers. Aspire has hit the mark once again by also preparing an adapter for 510 atomizers which is available separately and which will make Veynom EX an unbeatable and complete kit, suitable for both beginners and more experienced users.
