Anyone try these clearos yet? How do you like them? I have some on order. Previously been using kanger t3s

I can only speak for the mini Aspire Vivi Nova BDC tanks... I have a couple that have been doing a great job for me... and have
more on order. The ones I have I've been using for a couple of weeks now and they have had heavy daily use on Vision Spinners
and their up keep has been easy and very inexpensive.
I don't know anything about the Kanger T3s so I can't tell you about any difference.. Sorry!

I'm really vocal about how each of the 6 heads I tried made my juice taste like some extremely weird flavor or the other. Sea salt, metal shavings, fish oil, charcoal, sweaty socks, you name it. And nothing's wrong with my tongue, I visited my local shop several times over the period to sample their juices (which were the same juices I were testing) and nothing was going on with my taste buds, their samples all tasted great. The Aspire gives a great deal of vapor if the taste doesn't bother you, but for me and my sensitive taste buds, I tasted nothing but what seemed like contamination from factory oils or metal dust.

To me, $30 for a device is an extremely big deal, I'm no rich man. My belief is that it should have worked great.

Where are you quoting this price from? I just checked NHaler's site and the price there is $10 for the vivi nova and $9 for all the rest, at that price I want to give them a try. Also the fact that they interchange with vivi tanks is a big plus.

$30.??? Sure sounds like you have a bone to pick with someone. I paid $9.00 for each of my mini-s... And over more than a two week
period I've tested more than a dozen different e-liquids in them against mini BCC Cartomizers, and mini Nova Clearomizers...
and have found them all to be excellent as long as I follow instructions given by the suppliers and many experts right here in the forum.
There have been none of the horrible taste or results you have suffered... None whatsoever! Sorry to hear about your experiences.

What happen when you called or emailed the Factory and explained that you order
may have been contaminated by oils or in another way during production?

The tank was $10.99, the heads were like $13, and the shipping was like $3-5, I really forgot. $25-$30. Tax too.

Aspire BDC Cartomizers / Tanks

And 2-3 other users have experienced this. One reviewer on Youtube claimed that an entire pack of heads tasted burnt for him, and that a new pack, following the same techniques, tasted great. Another member on here says they taste horrible and the taste only went away after boiling in hot water, which actually destroyed the glue (I don't want melted glue in my tank so I'm not doing that). I forgot who else had a problem but someone did.

And the factory/vendor isn't going to do crap, I'm not even gonna get myself rowled up about it. My best chance is to contact the other vendor that sells these things, telling them about my experience, and asking them if they'd like to send me a pack from their own stock for me to review, I'd tell them that if their own pack works, then I'll certainly advertise them as being the better vendor to buy from. I'm certainly not going to buy another pack myself for $14.

My first impression with Aspire was good. But then, after a while it seemed to me that I am burning through my liquids much faster with them. That didn't bother me that much but one other
thing did. That other thing is flavor change. Well, its not that bad experience like some people had and it is strong flavor but somehow I feel that it is "masked". Kinda hard to explain, but if you are already familiar with the juice it's almost like you know a melody consisting of three tones. First tone is there and it is very LOUD, second tone is there but a bit less loud and you can't hear third one at all. It's just not there! Because of that, my 2 Aspires are sitting on my display shelf not used for a while. Might give them another go sometime but I highly doubt they can ever come close to atomizer I am using at the moment, HH.357 long barrel.

Best regards,
Lovecoach

The 'masked' taste, for me, is usually attributed to a 'bad' taste that's overwhelming the flavor, but that your particular taste buds can't pick up on the bad one. If I'm testing out a device that has really bad flavor to it, if I stick with it for even a few minutes, sometimes my tongue gets used to the bad taste and doesn't taste the bad one anymore, but still never tastes the actual juice flavor. Sometimes my devices will give me no flavor right off the bat, but if I concentrate, I can indeed still pick up tinges of metal or rubber or oil or whatever may be blocking the flavor profile from really getting through. Switching over to a truly working device always lets me know right off the bat that nothings wrong with my tongue when all this happens. With the Aspire though, it's been extreme - my juices have all overwhelmingly tasted like salt, fish oil, metallic hazes, or such. Just the weirdest thing.

So far, a lot more bad taste reviews are popping up with the Aspire as they get purchased. Including me, I believe this is 7 different users with this problem now. As recommended, always try a vodka wash, and always drip a few drops of liquid into the head. I tried the dripping method on my last head with no improvement, but I dripped about 3 drops inside, and absolutely no gurgling or leaking. I just didn't try the vodka wash on any of them though because I kept having safety concerns about alcohol - at this point though, I'm sure alcohol is healthier to vape than whatever is making these heads taste so bad.

Totally agree Kevin. Been using them for weeks now and so far perfect. Wondering where the guy with the issue is getting them from...
Where do you get yours Kevin? Mine was from WOV (worldofvape) but I am wondering if someone has them cheaper.

Hey Fred. I bought my (2) Vivi glassomizer tanks about 2 weeks ago, and just have the (2) heads that came with them. I'm picking up a few more of the CE5 versions for my wife & friends and am picking up a couple of 5 packs of coils from WOV. (Thanks for pointing them out to me). If you are just looking for a couple of places to just get heads from, I'll send you a PM for a couple of reputable vendors that sell them at fair prices. The only thing that put me off about WOV, was that they didn't offer a First Class shipping option, so instead of $2+ for shipping, it will cost me $6+ because they only offer Priority. However, with (3) tanks and (2) 5 packs of heads, they are still a less expensive option for me. You can also keep an eye out here in the "coop" section to see if someone is doing a group buy for them. You'll have to wait a bit to get them, but if you're looking to buy in bulk, it's a pretty good savings. PM headed your way.

Kevin you are the best.
Thanks for your PM.

About WOV, I would send them an email about the 6$ priority shipping. So far they have been great listening to feedback. I think they actually really want it. I also seem to remember I got up to a 100$ insurance on my package for the shipping. And it came fast obviously.

Thank you for pointing me in their direction:thumb:, and good to hear that they shipped them fast to you! Now.....I'll stalk the mailman toward the end of this week for my vapemail :mail:....
