At Backwoods Brew with Casablanca

I am going to try to be fair with this after I have had Kick Bass. It is safe to say two different worlds here because Casablanca is a tobacco flavour. I was told this juice needs to steep to get the full experince and this may be true. Not to be shallow but right from the mail box all I can really get out of this is a small hint of cigar taste on the inhale, I am not getting a throat hit at all and vapor production is poor. On the good hand I could vape this all day for awhile until I realize nothing is there.

Hmm. Not really a cigar type flavor. A smooth, rich tobacco with a hint of cocoa flavor. Maybe got too cold in the mailbox.
That's one flavor I re-ordered two days after I first vaped it. Fantastic stuff.

While taste is certainly subjective, vapor production isn't and I am going to have to agree with Kobold on this one... Don's juices have never failed to produce plenty of vapor for me. Perhaps you should give it another shot on a new atty or something?

I'm a fan of BWB, so I'm very interested in less than stellar reviews.

I haven't had poor vapor from my bottles. The flavor is great too.

What is your PV setup?
Some juice doesn't do as well at high voltage...

BWB juice is best after it has had a week or two on the shelf. The flavors need time to blend.

Try it again, & let us know...

Love this juice prolly the best one I have gotten from them yet. I'm using a ego with a mega low res ego atty with a drip tip. The coffee juice from these is pretty good also.

I don't know, I have been having strange experiences with these vapes. I got some Hunters blend last week, I tried it out right away, and thought where the big bold taste is. So I let my girlfriend try it, and it almost knocked her to the floor it was so strong. I then tried it a few days later and the taste was much stronger. Casablanca, at first was super, but then washed out, them I tried it a few days later and it was stronger. Strange

Another thing to keep in mind about the flavor of BwB juices is that most of them aren't designed to blast you in the face with flavor (a few of them are, but the majority aren't). Rather than being overwhelmingly flavorful, Don chooses to focus on subtlety and complexity with many of his flavors, as well as performance. Some people prefer this to the more "in your face" juices out there, but others don't.

Obviously one of the best ways to find what you like is to try juices from different vendors until you hit your sweet spot.

My last bottle was born on Dec 5th...vaped it all day today...IMO...this stuff is freaking good! I love the complexity of BWB liquids...it's not just PG/VG, Nic, & bottled flavouring...there is some love in that bottle!

If vapor production is poor, I'd have to say to try different atties... like others said, taste is subjective, but Don's juices have always performed well.
So, I would seriously write Don an email and let him know. He'd been preoccupied with family stuff this past week, but he'll get back to you. Tell him that one of his BWB crew suggested you write him... (Don, if you read this, yes, I just created the BWB crew just now and made myself a member ;-) It's not like you are complaining about the flavor... you are questioning the performance... and like BWB or not, his juices are among the best performing I have ever vaped.

while I agree that Don's juices produce lovely plumes of vapor, some are clearly better than others. In fairness to the OP I do think Casablanca is one that doesn't crank out as much vapor. Just my experience on my gear, doesn't apply to anyone else necessarily.

I can say that Casablanca doesn't PLUME out the vapor the same as as my honey flue cure does, perhaps...but flavor wise? I've yet to meet a juice that can match its sheer awesomeness.

I agree...awesome juice...complex flavor...

I guess if you need "plumes" you could add a few drops of VG, but I wouldn't...fantastic as is!!!

I am intrigued to try this juice, thinking about putting another order together and it maybe make the cut. I think I first heard about it watching bornagainst's video review and ever since it's got me curious

i agree, isn't it funny how now when you smell an analog it makes you sick rather than want one like when we used to smoke? I never understood how strong it was, how it clung to everything, your car your clothes it's amazing how perspectives change in life.

im in the BWB crew as well. The casa is my least favorite thus far only because im not a cocoa fan. I cant say enough good about dons liquid.Ive made his applewood my all day vape. Im dying to try his smoke and others as well..
