So me and my husband go to the casino every other weekend. I always use my 801 which looks nothing like a cigarette. I always get "what is that?" from people and after I tell them a few of them will say "oh, I've heard of those things" and the rest will have no clue about them.

Anyway, yesterday I finnally got one of the minis. I don't know the model number, but it looks like a real cigarette filter and where a cig would be white it is a dark red.

So I took it to the blackjack tables and everytime I would sit down at one the dealer would immediatly hand me an ash tray. I would explain that it wasn't a real cigarette and would tell them about it. I think I got handed 5 or 6 ash trays last night and one was from one of the players that was smoking.

I was also getting different comments from people. One person asked me "is there pot in there or something?" Most other people where like " is that one of those smokeless cigarettes?" or "oh, thats one of those... can't remember what the're called." All in all it was an interesting night. It's kind of interesting the reactions I get when I use a different model.

yep i live in Vegas and work in a Casino. The reactions are mostly positive and curious. Ive spread the word and even gotten a few people into vaping. Everyone who has tried it loves it and is smoke free. About 5 people conveerted so far since I've started. dealers love it too and promote it. especially the dealers who dont smoke.

I've probably talked to 50-60 people just at the casino about them over the last couple months. I haven't had one bad reaction. Most people have been really curious, and most smokers really want one.

I now carry cards on me with info and this website on it. It helps a lot especially when you are trying to gamble. I've given demonstrations to a whole blackjack table at once before.

I used to go to the Emerald Queen and the Muckleshoot over here in Tacoma and Auburn, but I haven't been since I started vaping. Originally, I'd go just because casinos are the only gig in town where a guy can have a beer and a cigarette nowadays, plus, both places have great food. (the Pad Thai and Curry at the EQC's Asian Garden Cafe is to die for!), but I started hitting the slots and put the kibosh on that when I noticed I was getting addicted to it. I might have to pop in at the EQC this weekend for some eats and see what kind of reaction I get from vaping.

Haha! I get the "pot" question all the time too. I mean, why do they think its pot? Maybe crack, but pot? In a group of five people, one inevitably asks me "Whats in that? Pot?". Maybe they are trying to be cute, but I don't like the implication that I'm a drug user or somehow drug affiliated because I vape.
You should see the looks on peoples faces when I drip in public. I imagine its the same look I would get if I had just tied off my arm and started injecting ....... I understand it has to look bizarre, but come on people, even the most cracked out drug addicted people on earth still are in touch with reality enough to do their using out of sight.

The wife and I stopped by a casino in WA coming home from the in-laws, I forget the name of it? Might have been the Lucky Dog?

I sat down at the blackjack table and just started vaping with my Prodigy, which if you don't know, it looks nothing like a real cig. I must have sat there for almost 10 minutes or so without a second glance by anyone.

Someone eventually asked me about it and the dealer started explaining the whole thing to them. Then the rest of the table started in on the conversaion with all possitive interest and comments.

I finally got up and took my winnings home :)

Yea, I actually had to ask one of the pit boss's to leave the table because he was asking so many questions and distracting me I WAS LOOSING. It was kind of funny, I finally took a small break and talked to the guy and gave him a card from one of our suppliers here on the forum. If I had 20-30 with me I could have sold them all.

LMFAO...I also drip in public and people honestly think you are loading up with more drugs! I have gotton the worst looks from people while doing this and even if they dont ask me what I am doing I tell them so they will stop judging my actions!

After spending the last 15 years asking "could I have an ashtray" in smoking sections I'll never turn one down.

My biggest pet-peeve was sitting down in the smoking section with no ashtray. I always wanted to start my own restaurant just to ensure the smoking section had ashtrays.

I'm not much for gambling but I really like the high customer service you generally get at casinos. The fact that I could smoke almost everywhere in Vegas was a big reason to go there on vacation.
