I did have one odd encounter at a biker bar that allowed smoking. One of the bartenders said he didn't know what the hell I was doing so I could not vape. I tried to set this guy (who might keep his helmet too tight) straight, but he only said "my rules like it or get out". Odd duck.

Aargh! I can understand his rights, but that was simply rude! But worry not. The day will come when that guy too will change his mind about vaping. It just takes a little time, nothing more.
