So I have the parts.. well so to say... But have no Idea how to get started on this project! Any, I mean any detailed input would be helpful! I'd like to make it wireless but also have a USB input as for charging the batteries and not have to take it apart all the time to charge the batteries.... I have two controllers so I would be happy to hook anyone up who can help me get this mod rolling!!!

I've never actually seen the inside of one so the best I could do is make suggestions. By the look of it space to work with would be no problem, you could fit all of the circuitry and batteries in the base. For simplicity's sake, making a battery door on the bottom would be fairly easy; otherwise you're only going to be able to run one battery. I'd recommend having your atty or cart recess into the joystick, it would look much less awkward.

I'd need some idea of how far and how technical you're willing to go with this thing, you could make it simple or make it out-perform just about any commercial mod available. It's up to you. If you can provide inner dimensions that would be incredibly helpful in recommending what hardware to use, but I will say using a pair of 18650's is going to be your best bang to buck option. If a USB charging option is mandatory you'll need to do much more in the way of planning, soldering etc. More info=more help - good luck, I'd love to see it finished...

I think an ideal mod would be for the handle, with its atomizer, to be totally removable. The battery is in the joystick handle. The base is used as a stand and for charging.

The question is how to make the electrical connection. I have a beard trimmer that simply has a power jack that sticks up in the center of the circular holder. Very simple and it seems very tolerant of how I place the trimmer in there. In other words, I simply drop the trimmer into the base and it connects. I should mention that the power connector is a circular one, so it does not matter how the trimmer is rotated when it is placed in the base.
