Finally, it took weeks.

I like the Atlantis tank but my ipv 2s has a 3.6 volts minimum so (ohm's law calculator) couldn't fire below 25 watts. I wanted the option to to go lower. The 1 ohm coils at 3.6 watts should me go down to 14 watts. There's less vapor at 14 watts, that's an option I was looking for. The higher ohm coil fires more efficiently, also something I was looking for.

The display on the IPV 2s reads 1.1 ohm, close enough.

Hey mate! I'm pretty wigged by what's going in Aspires BVC coils, so I'd be more than a little nervous about what $random clone manufacturer decided to use to duplicate it.

I can't ask you to tear down and photograph one of these so we can compare it to the filler used in the authentics, but how would you feel about removing the metal screen and doing a visual comparison between them for any differences, and/or a few pictures?

I'm not disecting any coils.

I didn't ask you to dissect them, I asked if you'd be willing to inspect for differences and maybe take a few pictures. :) If you aren't down with that, no worries.

I'm confident the authentic and clone coils are safe to use.

Interesting, can I ask why are you confident about the clone coils? e.g., do you know what is in the clones? If you're confident in the authentics, are you are sure what's in the clone coils is the same thing in Aspires coils? I'm not able to find out who makes them, nor what the materials are via the listings...

Here is a close up of the Atlantis 1 ohm coil, screen, and wick, from fasttech received today. The wick sort of has a frizzy look that suggests cotton but that's a guess.

And here is a side view of the coil head. I think I see a fabric like material in the side view. If that's right may be it's to keep the wick from migrating out via the side holes.

May be i'm not concerned about all the health issues because that's been done to death. My vape is not high energy physics. I don't day dream about sticking my mod into the Hadron Super Collider. I tend to chain vape. My original N minis at 8 watts are still my favorites for relaxing at home and at my bench at work. I am tired of replacing coils so that's not going to last forever, especially if the government gets goofy and we all need a couple liters of nic in the freezer.

My question is why are you Wigged?
You do know there have been NO professional studies, right?
So Far all panic, Speculation and Rumor from Vapors and/or competing companies. What better way to sell your goods than put people in a panic over someone else product.
