That's kool, cause mine starts to get really hard to screw the deeper the cobra goes, and that's with the dingo post set down. I felt it was taking too much force, so that's why I stopped with the gap you see in my photo
Do you feel that you had to apply strong force to actually get further in?

Is it firing with it up that high? I would guess if it's firing it's seated.

Can you post a pic of the Cobra's connection? Just seems like that center post is probably protruding quite a bit.

If I recall correctly, on a cobra it is just one brass center pin though the connection that is also the positive post, a very simple design. You could just pull the nuts off and see if it screws all the way down allowing the centre pin to adjust. If so then some trimming of the pin may fix your problem. If you screw up, the pin is not that expensive to replace.

I would go w/ Buzzsaw's call.

If it fires the Corba's center post more than likely needs to modified to sit flush.

If the atty doesn't, then you probably have threading issues. Typically you can use a 7mm x .5mm die to clean up atty threads but I don't see that happening on the Cobra. I suppose you could tap the Dingo's brass 510 connection.

I've been there before. That's a bummer man.

When I first got my roller, both normal and recessed connectors had bad threading. I had to try to get rid of the burrs by using an old cartomizer, pulling as I screwed in and pushing while I screwed it out( with the connectors off the roller of course.) I contacted Atimzoo and they were kind enough to send me out new connectors that worked perfect.

It actually did require a bit more pressure once it was almost seated. After that the threads are quite smooth. My guess is slight imperfections deep in the threads on one device or the other. Works flawlessly with the post on the dingo all the way down.

I'm very happy with this setup. The dingo is small and the cobra is lightweight for its size, which makes for a nice daily vaping experience. I also find the top cap on the cobra to be an excellent heat sink. If I touch it when chain vaping I can tell it gets a little hot, but never too hot, and I can't tell when actually vaping it even with a metal drip tip.

I don't which of the two has threading imperfections, seems to me like Cobra 510 connection is a little larger than most. When I put Cobra on provari it sits fine and smooth albeit not fully flush.
I've tried other stuff on dingo and the go on smoothly :)
I like the Cobra, but will be on the hunt for 22mm genny for the dingo anyways. Grr the endless pursuit of perfection. I have a Somnium hybrid on the way; a hybrid is one way of having perfection, I hope :p

Best,
Joe Shark
