$ 47.00 duties and taxes at this end on top of that. Other Euro shippers just delivered, but Atmizoo's DHL asks for $ 47.00 in duties and taxes C.O.D.

If all I had to pay was €110.70 plus $20 shipping then I'd be OK on that.

Current tax legislation in Greece requires all retail purchases to be charged with the local tax (23%) regardless of the country of the purchaser (EU or non-EU).

Only wholesale is exempt from tax charges.

23% of the prices shown on the website is value-added tax. So, ~21 euros out of the ~111 that the Roller costs is tax. ALL orders are normally sent with a receipt, which is a proof of the amount to be taxed. Some orders are sent without receipt on the purchaser's request (for customs clearance), or when there is a previous history of issues with the local customs. The legal receipts are in ALL cases readily available.

Apart from this 23% VAT, issuing legal invoices means that we - of course - get taxed for the net income that corresponds to each purchase by another percentage. For the record, if the Roller was sold illegally, its cost could be as low as ~80 euros. So, when doing price comparisons, it's also useful to take this factor into account, at least for those interested to know where their money goes.

When a mod was sent to me from Ireland by "bOd by Leo", the only thing I paid was $6 in shipping, no VAT, no other taxes. With Atmizoo, I got hit with €20.70 VAT, €19 shipping and at this end for $47 in duties.

I cannot tell you why this discrepancy exists. Obviously one can ship almost the same thing for $6, the next guy another $85. Paying $140 for the Roller plus another $85 for BS is out of the question. I don't care why, I just won't be paying it again. No more European orders.

It doesn't work like a cash advance. Its more like a transfer. The funds are directly withdrawn from your account.

I feel much better I got confused after reading the post about VAT...
So will there be an option to choose credit card account when I am ready to pay with Paypal? My Paypal account has $0 balance but is it still okay to make a purchase and getting charged on my credit card account afterwards?

Yes paypal will automatically withdraw the funds from your credit card if it is already linked to your paypal account.

I'm not interested in the ice matte or the polished, just the matte. I see all these people snapping up the sigelei mechs and I wonder if I'm crazy for paying this much for a roller when the clone is available for a$40. I'd rather have a couple really nice ones...quality over quantity kinda thing.
I really hope the mattes are gone when I get up lol

I never even bothered with the cheaper stuff. I chose the EA as my first mech and am on the list for a moneypenny and now contemplating a Roller. I actually had an ihybrid in my cart the other evening but it was just to see if I could get it.. not really interested in it so I didn't purchase. I don't drool over the caravelas or the juggernauts or the really tough to get stuff. I've seen poldiacs in stock but never really tempted to buy one even though I'm a DID fan.

We'll see what happens when I get up

I still need to get on the list for the monepenny. I've been putting it off. All my patience has been devoted towards the Nemesis. I'm really happy with the Dingo. Ultimately impressed by the switch. I wish the shop I first saw it at had let me try it, otherwise I wouldn't have gone with the 69.

I looked hard at the 69.. Finnvape has the polished version in stock but it's more than I want to spend. I am really excited about the moneypenny... hope to get it in the next week or two. I love the looks and the price. I might just glue some trinkets to it LOL

Yeah fsors loves it when people steam punk it out. I have some brass parts that I've been taking home from work that I would love to throw on it.
