That's a good collection. The GGTS never interested me...I just don't think it looks good.

No doubt about it, the poldiacs are beautiful mods. Just a bit too beautiful, a bit too ornate for me personally. The uma edition is in stock right now, I've never seen it in stock! I've looked at it over and over and even put it in my cart lol...but I finally walked away because I know it isn't "me"

I just saw where you bought one..didn't want you to think I was putting them down.

LOL. Yeah...it's not going on. I tried everything including lubing the RSST (and the roller) threads and gently nudging it back and forth. It eventually will just stick and out come the pliers...kinda chewed up my recessed connector a bit. Works fine though.

I like the RSST though is the thing. AGA not so much. I can definitely feel the threads wanting to stop everything I want to put on the Roller, but the other devices will go past whatever it is.

I'm going to wait to hear back from them and I will get a replacement connctor sent. I may see if they will sell me a set of matte stainless tubes and a stainless switch and waive shipping since they're GOING to send me a replacement connector anyway. Oh yes, they will be sending me a replacement connector!

As far as the Roller itself, it's a lovely little thing. The vape seems very "smooth and effortless". That probably sounds weird but it must be the switch and it's location.

The Ice Matte finish is glorious, in time I will find the perfect match for a topper. Although matte stainless inner tubes and switch, would be a nice color combo and make that "less important".

Did it quench my thirst for the Nemesis? As b0redagain (damn you) stated it probably wouldn't, and it didn't. But I do think the EA will be going on the auction block soon.

I also figured out that Atimizoo/Atimizone, they are the Apple of Mods/vaping.

I wouldn't think that. We all have different tastes. Some would call me crazy for not liking the GGTS. I also don't like any of the mods coming out of the Philippines and those are some well liked and high dollar mods.

We both like the Roller...so that's good.

Also, you should look at the Nemesis over the 69. I'd trade my 69 right now for another Nemesis. It's a great mod.

Lol. I know what you mean about the "ribbing". Too much ribbing makes the mods look awful to me. I think it has to do with how simplicity is the style nowadays, everything from phones, computers, to TV's. All that ribbing stuff is late 90's early 2000's. I want to support all the filipino modders out there, being filipino myself. I just can't get myself liking the looks of some of the mods. I hate to say it but they have kind of a cheap look to them. I think is has to do with all the "ribbing" you see coming out of china. It makes you automatically associate anything with "ribbing", cheap. I do believe that mods like the n-zonic has to be built solid, if it wasn't there wouldn't be such a high demand for it.

As for the Poldiacs, as nice as they look. I just don't like body pants on mods. Plus, the 150 eur price compared to something like the Nemesis 130 eur, you get more bang for the buck with the different battery options on the nemesis. It's not like I don't want one, I just have other mods higher on my wish list.

All Brass Polidiac is $130 no? They had one in stock last night. Yes, I am still stalking the Nemesis late at night, then I cruise by the MM site, then sachet over to Clouds of Vapor on my Greek mods hunt. DAMN MYSELF! WHAT HAVE I BECOME?!

Roller is sweet, I got a nice AGA-T2 going on it. Oddly I'm really digging it in 18500 mode. I'm becoming a fan of the 18500 I think. The Roller just seems like I said...smooth. It "rolls" I guess. Must be the switch up top and the wonderful feel of it as you press it.

I'm a bit bummed about the RSST, kind of a buzzkill when I pulled the mod out of the box and reached for the RSST that I had freshly coiled, filled and broken in for today. BUT I'll get them to send another of each connectors on Monday and we'll see what happens. There is definitely an issue with the connectors though...both of them. My second AGA didn't want to go on, but I gave it a little extra spin and it went on finally. We shall see. But overall, loving this thing. It's growing on me. Heck would mind just getting an entire SS-M version and mix and matching it and the IM.

Why do all the Filipino mods have the ribs? Is it the "scene" over there? Their signature? I grew up in Japan (military brat), I have LOTS of Filipino friends still to this day. None of them are vapers though.

I haven't paid much attention to the Filipino mods and what you said about the Poldiac is my thoughts exactly. I love the look of the Uma edition but I know that brass would need frequent cleaning to keep it looking good. I put one in my cart last night just to see how much it would cost me with shipping.. almost $225! I can't afford it anyway. I don't even need to be looking at anything else LOL But I've watched the GG's for a couple years now and have always considered them the top tier of the mech vaping world. I'm sure it won't perform any better or worse than the mods I have now and my EA looks just like it. More than anything I guess, it is a goal I can shoot for and I can always sell it for what I paid for it, no problem.

I love my Roller! That button is just a delight to use. My favorite DID looks great on it and the wick/air hole line up perfectly with the button.

I do like the GGTS. If every single mod was available right now and I had to choose 1 to purchase. I would be hard pressed on picking either a Caravela or GGTS. The GGTS to me is like an original. Anytime a bottom side button mod comes out, it's always accused of copying the GG. Same can be said about bottom buttons and the Caravela. The GGTS has been around for years now and it is still hard to get. The Classi's have them but with blown up prices. I really like the way it looks but have put it on my "Don't give a crap anymore list". I'd rather purchase something from a mod maker who is trying to meet the production demands than mod makers who keep their production low. Atmizoo is a good example of a mod maker who makes a great mod and tries their best to put it out frequently. Not only that, they haven't jacked up the prices even so they get sold out every time. Atmomixani, Vapourart, Electric Angel inc. and MMvapors are the same way also. They always have them ready at least twice a month.

I understand that some of the mod makers are one man shops(GGTS, Caravela, Chi you, etc), but to ask for such a high price and for your product to become highly sought after. Doesn't make sense to me why they haven't raised production to meet demands. What's sad is that people are snatching them up just because of hype and rarity to find out that it's not to their liking and put it up for sale after just having it for a week. What's worse is that some just buy it to trade them for the mods that they really want. Which sucks for the people who just want the mod but lose out on the chance to get it because of these flippers. Man, I'm cranky in the mornings. Sorry for the rant.

I get tired of the scalpers too. I saw one guy sell like 8 chi yous for like $700 to $800 each on corevape.com. Not even going to go there when it comes to the ridiculous prices for the Caravela. lol

Ahh kk, makes sense. I thought you were talking about the full brass poldiac that I got for $167.

If only we can get some of the high end mods made in the us for $167. Unfortunately the US modders want more and charge close to the $200+ Eur prices that include the tax and shipping, which is pretty lame.

I like the GGTS too, I want one real bad. And I hate it when people snap up all the mods and sell them at raised prices. Happened on the last Nemesis release, I couldn't get one, and I see them on other fourms the next day for $350. And people are buying them. I'm almost over missing out on the Nemesis, but not quite yet.

Are there even any other USA made mech mods other than the ones from Puresmoker and Super-T? Cause I would buy one for sure, just not a fan of those two.

On the Roller - I'm really starting to love it. It's just...nice! I really dig the Ice Matte finish too, it's really cool in person. Anyone know how durable the finish is? Those matte flat steel Richman Rebuildables look GREAT, he is supposed to have more in at the end of the month and I'll get a couple. Only concern now is - will they screw on? My confidence in them fitting is a bit diminished with the RSST fiasco, but that'll get sorted I hope. I may still go back and get some matte stainless tubes and button. Maybe I'll get a dingo and the tubes and mix and match? I need to get a polished mech next, everything I have is brushed/matte! I need a fingerprint magnet!
