I noticed in the vivi nova rebuild thread you are looking for a za kanthal (FeCrAl) supplier. I thought I'd try to help in the search, well did I fall off my chair laughing, you can get supplies from Ni-Wire :D unfortunately they're China based.
Do you actually have a supply or are you waiting for a delivery?

LOL! Love your Location description by the way.
No, I'm still searching for kanthal wire locally, no supply, or order on the way!
If I'm not mistaken, I noticed you rebuild as well, with mesh on rba's, where do you get kanthal wire?

You can get wire from ebay suppliers. 100ft will cost you about $6 and last you forever. You may also be able to find wire at some place like Grainger, I know they carry stainless steel mesh. Its all a matter of what you are using the wire in, but 32g is the most popular. I rolled a super thin stainless wick that I used in my vivi novas and would give them 5 wraps of 32g, would bring them to about 1.5 ohms. I use two strands of 32g twisted together now in my iHybrid. Once you start building you own attys, you will never go back to anything else.

Thanks, but I'm from South Africa, and was looking to get kanthal locally, without having to wait, and pay through my nose for international shipping, for something that cheap.

I'm defenitely looking at RBA's in the near future, but for now, I will tinker with my vivi nova's. Since I have no kanthal, I use the stock coil, and thread cotton through it, and it works a treat. I followed advise on the vivi nova rebuild thread, and haven't looked back since.

SunRam, I have used Wires.co.uk but they are a little expensive with shipping even locally. StealthVape.co.uk sell Kanthal at various sizes as well as sampler packs, 3 sizes x 2m @ £3 and they also sell on eBay, contact them either through their website or on eBay for their shipping rates, they use registered mail for international shipping so it shouldn't be that expensive.

Thanks, I assumed you're in South Africa though. I checked Stealthvape out, an it's only 3 pounds! So, if I don't come right any time soon, I'll order from them.

Thats nice to know Liewe Heksie ;) I'm really impressed with eCiggies - Electronic Cigarettes | Vaporizers | e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes | Electronic Cigarettes variety of choices, and I have bought emergency supplies there a couple of times, but it remains expensive vs importing you own stuff from the states

I am waiting for delivery of stuff from eCiggies - Vivi Nova, cartomisers and eGo battery with adjustable voltage.
Hope I get some satisfaction with this lot.

Congrats. Hope you like them! Keep us posted.

I have not tried the vivi Nova yet, been testing out the atomisers. They seem to last longer
the those from ECS. They work well initially, but the performance deteriorates each day.
It's a case of using one as long as you can put up with the reduced performance.
I've used two over a 10 day period.

I have been battling along for over two years and have yet to find an atomiser that lasts.
True statement, they are considered as consumables

HH357 attys...They last for a long time with the best vapor production available... They do cost abit but with the performance and taste they deliver, worth every single penny! Supercharge your vape.....
False statement. Yes they perform well, but they will last no longer than an equal amount of money's worth of other attys. They are consumable. "Best vapor production"? That's a term only relative to one's limited experience. There are many attys that can out produce the hh357 in vapor.

Boeriemore, I would advise you to just start off with the stock vivi novas,
True statement. The vivi nova is an ok place to start but the solution to your problem is RBAs in general.

The nova with a few extra heads can be an inexpensive start into rebuildables, but you may or may not experience muted flavoring of your juice. There are mixed reviews with the vivi nova on that issue.

There are plenty of RBAs that sell for under $20 US and $10 worth of wick and wire lasts a long time "once you are proficient at setting them up". <- I have to stress that.

An AGA-T + enough wick and wire to last a year can be purchased for roughly $40. There is a big learning curve on setting it up (See my blog for detailed instructions if you are interested). I don't buy attys any more. Ever. No need to.

To answer Dragonbone's question... the Twisp Neo is basically a rebranded Janty Neo... they are just rebranded for South Africa.

As stated previously, my first Neo lasted 6 days, it's replacement 10 days. At the time Twisp swore by this product.
Now they inform me that it's being taken off the market to be replaced by something else.
Why can they not undergo proper testing on these products before marketing them?????????

Nice to see you back, Stranger.;)

A Janty Neo looks like a 510 650mAh ego, this is what I know it as, here:
Janty NEO Manual Silver Set
In ZA it's being sold like this:
The Twisp NEO starter pack

And charging a Bomb for them. Crooks!

Hey Meli, did you get a day pass from Groen Dakkies again for good behaviour hehe?

Holy S#%$!!! One grand for an eGo and Giantomizer kit with 5ml ejuice lol!!! Could they even spare the juice? That is the biggest rip off ever!

I agree with Jazon, and I've said it before on this thread, do yourself a big favor and get a Mini Vivi Nova or two and a pack of some spare heads and then learn how to make your own new coils.

I did exactly that. The spare heads last about five days, and the rebuilds last me about a day then produce less throat hits
until zero after three days.
