hello -
new vapor here. Just received the start pack mini e-cig from e-cig dot com (china)

Formally a clove smoker which means more pulls on a smoke in comparison to the normal cigarette. (friends could smoke two regulars while I was working on my first).

Ideally I wanted to match the flavor concept so I ordered the flavored e-cartridges. I have found; however, that I am going through them very fast. IF a cartridge is supposed to = a pack of smokes I'm really screwed. These e-cartridges tend to lose the flavor after about one day of using.
I guesstimate that i pull maybe 30 drags on the e-cig a day? which should only be about 2 real time cigarettes no?

Anyone else have this issue?

Do you think its just the brand?

Any suggestions on a better atomized cartridge that I can mix and match with my current battery? specifically the model I own is the E-Minicig from e-cig dot com out of China.

Thanks!

The first e-cig I bought used that same kind of "cartomizer" and I found I was burning through those things like a house on fire. The manufacturers' claims about capacity of the carts are invariably super-inflated. I don't know how they get away with it. Some "cartomizers" can be refilled -- perhaps all of them can. Perhaps somewhere in the modifications section of the forum there's a thread about how to refill the ones you are using.

Eventually I switched to the Joye 510, which has its cartridges separate from the atomizers. I refill the carts. They don't hold a ton of e-liquid, but I can live with that. (Though sometimes, a "magically" saturated 510 cartridge will last me quite a while -- I don't know why some do and others don't.) I also have the 801. Its carts hold a lot more juice than the 510 carts -- at the expense (in my experience) of cooler vapor and a correspondingly lesser "throat hit"...though I don't know if that's everyone's experience with the 801.

I think that in time you'll grow a bit weary of the cartomizers and want something that enables you to refill the carts yourself. There's more labor in that, for sure -- and sometimes it's messy -- but it's way more economical.
