Atomizer Maintenance...

Just had my first atty die on me without warning.

I want to see what the general consensus is on their maintenance.

If you have a different technique or schedule.. Please post it so others can learn.

usually nothing , when i want to switch flavors i blow it out from the battery connection side but that's just to get rid of any juice..

otherwise , i use em till they are dead

Nice idea for a thread, vaporize me. I am still learning and trying new things but scared I'm going to mess up so I will want to keep a close eye on what seems to work best.

I currently blow out and drip dry every couple of days or when it seems to need it, though I did try a cola cleanse last week. It worked very well for me but I think I'll reserve that for when the blow out/drip doesn't seem to be enough... till I learn more from you all anyway.

Just had my first atty die on me without warning.

How old was the little feller when he kicked the bucket?

Mine is going strong after almost 2 months. I've cleaned it twice, when it tasted burnt. Soaked it in hot lemon juice, ran it under hot water to rinse, and dry for a short time. I have spares, but haven't needed them yet.

I refill when the vapor gets weak
I never drip directly into the atomizer.
I let it sit for a few minutes if it feels hot.
I stick with 1 brand of e-juice.

The little fella was alternating with his brother for only about 8 days when he got terminally ill... I started using the little guy on my new passthrough when he got cold and there was no pulse... He lasted about a dozen or so hits then...
