Hi all, I purchased a used FreeMax Starre Pro tank today from a buddy of mine(he let me try it, it worked fine.) I got home and hooked it up to my 120w Tesla box mod, and it worked fine for all of five minutes. I went to fill the tank up(it already had some liquid in it, the liquid he had let me try it with) and it still worked, but then I started wondering how to change the coil. I made an oopsie, unscrewed the wrong part, and ended up with a lap full of birthday cake. Anyway, I took the tank into the kitchen, wiped it off with a paper towel, and discovered where the coil was before putting it all back together and giving it another go. However, when I hooked it back up to my mod, it gave me an 'atomizer short' screen when I tried to fire it. I checked all the connections, tightened everything that I could tighten, and gave it another go - no luck. I messaged my local vape shop owner on facebook for some help, and after talking for a few minutes, he suggested I take the batteries out of my mod and put them back in. It worked! I was relieved. However, my batteries soon died(I normally use a turbo RDA so my batteries were already kind of low) and I plugged them up. I let them get to full charge, and put them back in. However, now, I'm getting the 'atomizer short' error again. Once again, I checked the connections, tightened everything, and tried taking out and replacing my batteries. Now, that's not even working, and I'm at a loss. I'm going to take it out to the shop and see if the owner can help me out, but he said that he wasn't really sure what I should do earlier, and suggested the battery trick on a whim.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Also, sorry if this is the wrong section, but this is the only place I can currently post apparently.

Are you certain you were using the Starre PRO?

If you are then it may be related to trying to use a nickel coil in a non-Temperature Control mod. Alternatively you may still have some liquid inside the base that is interfering with the electrical connection between the pin and the coil.
