The steel wool on one of my atomizers is starting to hang off to the side, it's almost completely exposed the filament now. Anybody had this happen before? Should I leave it, or try moving it back with a toothpick or something? It's still vaping pretty good. Thanks!

If it's still working why even mess with it?

But, they are cheap enough to mess with, so what ever floats your boat.

Because I assume it's not supposed to be like that, and wanted to know which option left me with more of a chance to have the atomizer work longer.

Here's the pic:

It's kind of hard to tell from the picture, but the steel wool is sunken in lower than the metal tip in the center.

I had a 510 atty do that. I just used some tweezers and eased the wool back over the metal bridge. Worked fine until it finally croaked a few weeks later. The wool is what wicks the liquid from the cartridge to the filament cup. I'd suggest blowing out the atomizer from the battery end, repositioning the wool, and then see if it starts working better. Nothing to lose by trying to make it last a bit longer.
