When I got my starter kit for my 510 the atomizers had so much of the fibreglass batting in them that it looked like ears sticking out from the metal bridge on them. After only two weeks or so the fiberglass seems to have gunked up with juice to the point of looking burnt. Black and nasty looking.
One works ok but gets rather hot (Hot enough to not be comfortable to touch.) and the other just has no draw and seems too cool.
I ordered two extra atomizers and batteries as spares and the atomizers that I got were different in the fact that they werent packed as full of the wicking material. On the first set I couldn't even see the coil on the second if you do a dry burn you can actualy see the coil get red.
What I'm wondering is did they maybe change the design on the atomizers? I would assume they are both authentic atomizers as they are the copper ones.
I mean, the first set didn't seem to work as well as the second right out of the box. Not a lot of vapor harder draw.
I cleaned the second set as I alternated them but will be doing a more thourough cleaning now that I've gotten spares. am letting them soak in a small cup with alcohol.
I guess if I get them clean enough to work again I will compare the attys and see which type gives me better service and let everyone know what I find. ( I know a comparison of four attys probably isn't too scientific but that's all I can afford at the moment).
