It stops getting hot and making noise and producing vapor. When that happens its usually because the coil broke and after that happens its over. You can always try tossing it in a pan with some other things your cleaning and boil it for 15-20 minutes. If that doesn't help chances are its gone for good.

hehehe... imma try this maybe it will work. :)

It works especially well with cartos, don't ever throw them away, just throw them all in a ziplock bag even if you think they are dead. After you have 15 or so throw them in some boiling water for 20 minutes (after removing the white mouth piece) repeat once if necessary. You will be amazed at how many fresh new cartos you have and how many of the dead ones came back to life. Best of luck.

yup I tried it, but still no good. I can hear the sizzle now but no vapor is coming out... I just need to find a local shop here in singapore and buy a new atomizer.

If you can hear sizzle then its still working, did you flood it or is it dry, when looking directly at the coil or bridge do you see it get red hot when you activate the battery?

get a multimeter. test the resistance. if it went way off the number that it should be at, then its screwed. I always test my atty when I get new ones so I know it good if not I just send them back for replacement. Same as batteries. Check to see if they are charging to the correct voltage so you know when to throw them out.

He has one atty, if he had a "bag of contains everything in the world" to get a multimeter out of he could just grab another atty :p

Noted. I think the batteries are still working. Only the atty needs to be replaced. The main problem is where to buy it here in singapore. HAHAHA

Hmm.. I've managed to get some atties running for well over 3 mths (gd brands) and some died an early death (china-made unbranded).

I've used this method to clean my ikv lr and it has lasted me 3 mths!

I'll blow out excess juice every wkend through e thread connector end and stick a kleenex gently in e atty.

Every fortnight, it'll go through e isopropyl alcohol cleansing ritual. Just dump it in a bowl of rubbing alcohol. Shake it gently and let it soak for an hour. After that, pour in clean rubbing alcohol thru e atty once more and wipe it dry. Then, i'll just blow out frm e thread connector end until no more liquid comes out. Prime it with a few drops of ejuice and let it sit overnight. E next morning, i'll just get it pumping by letting it burn and not vape 1st. Thereafter, prime again with some ejuice and e atty's running fine again! U might wanna try this as a quick-fix before getting yr atty.
