Atomizers: Exposed or Recessed?

I have recently decided that I really prefer exposed atomizers and no carts so I am throwing a poll out to where folks stand on the issue.

Oh yeah and add 'WHY' in the thread if you feel like sharing. Personally I prefer dipping and I think I get a better flavor out of the exposed atomizers.

I have the Janty dura C and Janty Stick which have recessed atomizers. As a newbie I have experience mostly with carts and topping them off. But I'll follow this thread to see what I may be missing from my e-cig experience.

i put two drops in the machine AND fill up thecart. i wash to polyfil weekly, i found it getting crystels in the polyfil at the bottom of cart.
no cartridge on it and my lips get tingled from e-liquid doing the antigravty thing up the sides...its weird as i hardly ever lay or use horizontal...
