atomizers for 510

what atomizer should i buy for a 510 standard batter of 180 mah
because they have alot of options of atmoizers so can someone tell me the best atomizer should be used like what 1.8 2.0 someone please help thanks alot

Hello and welcome to ECF. The standard 510 needs the standard resistance atomizer in the 2.2 to 2.5 ohm range. If you go to 2.0 ohms or less you're risking battery damage. You can go higher, say 2.8 ohms or more but vapor production will be quite low.

As CSkent says, with a standard 510 battery you can only use either an SR (Standard Resistance) atomiser or SR cartomiser.

I just ordered 2 Bauway 510 Atomizer, 2.5 ohms and they should arrive tomorrow. I will come back and let you know how they performed after my weekend test. If these do not meet or exceed my expectations I am going to order the Joye branded atomizers. I probably should have ordered them first since they are the same price as the Bauways.

thank you everyone for the replys i just wanted to ask how long is everyone getting with their cartomizers to because im only getting about 2 days maximam and that is not even heavy vaping just about 50 70 puffs in a day so do you think i should switch to an atomizer because i would like to direct drip

Cartomisers are meant to be disposable, but if you fill them well to begin with & top up regularly, they should last you more than a couple of days if you aren't vaping heavily. Which cartomisers are you using & where from?

If you want to try dripping, then you will need to switch to an atomiser - either a 510 or 306 with a drip tip. But again, if only using a mini 510 battery, you have to stick to SR atties. Hve you thought about upgrading to a Riva or ego? You will get so much better battery life & more choice of what to use with it - for instance the Vision egos.

I usually get a week to 1 1/2 week's use out of each cartomizer. They usually start tasting nasty (like stale juice) after that, although they still produce vapor ok.

i got the cartomizers with my kit and only received it a little while ago was jus woundering what would be the best place and the cheapest to buy atomisers in the uk from for a 510 thanks alot everyone and thank you all for the helpfull replies i am kind of new to this e cig smoking and wanted to ask does everyones cartomizers come with some wire thin wires running in the middle space of the cartomizers thanks alot

Hi again Naumaan If you really do want to try an atomiser, this is the cheapest 510 I can find in the UK -

Atomizers : 510/EGO Atomizer

You will also need to buy either a drip tip or some cartridges to use with it.

Empty Cartridges : 510 Empty Cartridge

The wire running inside a cartomizer is the heating coil, that's what vaporizes the juice.
