Atomizers gone wild...?

Ok I ordered the prodigy v3 full kit and a vast enormity of different flavored juices from puresmoker several weeks ago. My original purchase lacked an atomizer so i promptly emailed them and they had 1 on the way the next day. When i received the atomizer I put it on dropped some juice in and went to vaping...just without the vapor. I checked the batteries with the "tongue test" and there was a charge so that led me to believe I had recieved a dud atomizer and emailed them and they sent another one out. I received the new atomizer screwed it on and it worked like a charm...for a few hours than it stopped working completely. I then decided I needed a better sampling of atomizers so I ordered 13 more (3 were free) and went through 4 of them, 3 of which giving me 1 foul tasting hit before failing to work, the other nothing at all. I've since decided to hold off on using any more of my 9 remaining atomizers out of fear that I'm doing something wrong. I've since checked just about everywhere and according to what others are doing with success I'm doing nothing wrong, I just don't understand what the problem is. Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any advice for me as I have invested a great deal of hard earned money into this and have gotten nothing but disappointment out.

Well, to start w/ you should blow out the priming fluid on a new atty. It tastes pretty nasty. That taste may have prevented you from noticing when the atty was dry, and could have damaged it. Before you toss the dead attys, you might want to soak them in vodka overnight, wash them in water and let them dry. Sometimes that helps. If you have a multimeter, you can check the ohms of the atty. should be @3 ohms.

Probably need more info
3.7V?
Which ohm atomizer?
Might even matter which brand 510,etc?
Dripping or using cart?

And I'd be interested to learn more about that battery test. Sounds shocking. Did it sting?

If LowThudd is right and they are 3 ohm atomizers you should be getting a long life. Even if over 3.7 V. Although I lean toward the 2.3 ohm atomizer on my 3.7V mod at least until my 1.7 and 2.5 ohm cartomizers get here then we'll see who wins.

Thanks lowthudd I have kept all of the atomizers so I will try that. Unfortunately I don't have a multimeter but I might have to consider buying 1. CtryBoy basically you just take the atomizer off and fire the unit onto your tongue with your tongue covering the end of the adapter. Its a small burning sensation but not painful or anything. its 3.7 volt 801 adapter DSE801 Penstyle Atomizer
