Atomizers tasting like the last flavor used

I think vaping has made me OCD ..... DO you guys label your cartos and juices? I have the urge to buy cool boxes and organizer things, and I have been sniffing my cartos to tell which is cherry, and which is cherry-choc-mint. But now I think I am getting the "taste-shut-down-at-a-week" syndrome .....

I know that taste-shut-down thing very well! I am on 2 weeks vaping, and have gotten that twice. For labeling, I found my daughter's label maker, and I stick those labels on with a bit of tape.

Hey all,

I've got an ego and I'm using carts and atty's. Seems like every time I vape something, I have to set that atomizer aside and use it only for that last flavor. I'm able to get away with using fruity/sweet flavors after each other... but I've also got coffee and menthol flavors that tend to "claim" (for lack of a better word) the atomizer. Therefore, I've got to make sure I'm attaching the right atty to the right cart, otherwise I get a mouth full of blueberry newport coffee. Not so great.

Is this just how these work? Do I need to start labeling them so they go with their respective carts?

I did clean the atty's the other night (ultrasonic jewelry cleaner) and that helped, but it was kind of a pain. FYI I've been vaping now for 8 days.

I have found a soak in vodka for a day or 2 gets most flavors out. If the flavor is strong enough to stick around after a vodka bath it is normally a flavor I don't like so it will go in the trash. IMO easier and much cheaper than tossing a couple carto's full of juice every day

For slim Joye 510 you need standard resistance cartomizers only (2.5 to 3 ohms) and I recommend you start with the most popular ones, Boge 510 (the ones around 3 ohms)

For fat battery and mod 510-threaded models 450mah+ you can optionally use the hotter LR 2 ohm Boges.

I don't mean to revive my own thread, but in case anyone was in the same boat as me I figured I would.

As quoted, I ordered some carto's from vaporkings. I am now a fan. The atty's are going back in the vape-supplies box and the carto's are getting filled as I speak.

Sidenote: ordered from mount baker vapor (mix your own flavors) and they sent me a free bottle of Candy Cane. Easily the best non-fruity flavor I've tried (and they just gave it away). Tis the season!

Highly recommend both vendors.
