Atomizers without wick?

Hi all.
Recently I've started to use a 'dripping' method.
The only thing I am worried about is this wick inside the atomizer.
I hate the feeling that I might be vapping something extra beside eliquid.
I've tried de-wicking my atoms, but there is always extra wick inside the coil (coil actually wraps around wick). And this one is impossible to get rid off without braking an atomizer.
Now I use V3 from puresmoker with a 501 adapter.
I consider getting an extra adapter and start using 306/801/901/smth elese?/
But which type would be best for dripping and wouldn't have this wick so I could enjoy pure vapping without extra smoke coming from wick (who knows how bad for health it is).
Thanks for any clues!
Greg.

I'm pretty sure Ikenvape's atomizers don't have a wick in them, i'm using a IKV 1.5ohm 510 atty right now and I can't see one although I didn't pull it apart to make sure.

Edit: I stand corrected. I have noticed that no matter what I do I don't get a burnt taste with this atty though, i'm pretty good at keeping it properly saturated so that might be the reason why.

Without the wick it would be hard to keep enough juice on the coil for it to not melt down. I build my own atomizers out of CE2's and I tried to make one without a wick and the coil melted in a sec or so. Maybe if I used a lot more coil it might not melt down but then it would drain the battery faster..just the dry wick alone will wick away some of the heat and not melt the coil so fast.

BTW the wicks they use don't burn (I clean them off with a torch and they look new after) as they are made of either silica/fiberglass/ceramic and all 3 of those are a kind of "glass"..I'm having a hard time tracking down the official wick material they use and buying it. Some are worried about using the wick but not because of burning but because of breathing in silica..I personally don't worry because the wick is kept wet even when you get a "dry" hit it's still pretty wet and that should keep the fibers attached or not airborne.

I'm using an Ikenvape's I06 atty right now, but I think it does have a wick even though it is a drip-only atty. And I do like it.

The only one I know, for certain, that does not have any wick is the HH357 available from Avid Vapor. It is a bit price-y and I have used them and like them too.

They have a wick in the video below..it's funny I have never seen them before and I kind of build my dripping "CE2omizers" the same way. I just started testing using mesh from old atomizers. One think different I do is tuck the wick around the round CE2 ceramic..the new thing I am trying is to tuck it around then put some mesh around it and use the metal sleeve from a atomizer..it seems ok but I'm still experimenting with it. I need to buy some new mesh and wick to work with though...
