attaching an mp3 file to a post

Is there a way to attatch an mp3 to a post? Following the instructions for attatching a file seems to lead to being able to attatch a photo or video, but not a sound file.

I think the only multimedia embedding that the forum settings allow is Youtube. To share audio from anywhere else, you'd have to just link back to the source (assuming the source is acceptable to link to, per the forum rules)

oops...I was wrong, it doesn't accept videos, but it does accept photos. So the solution for an mp3 or a video would be to post it somewhere online, then post a link to it (just like someone had told me before - duh!).
