Now, to help you with your problem, I see that we are awaiting email confirmation from you. Your access is severely limited until that occurs. And it is an automated process. The verification email was sent to you when you applied for the change.
So the question is, are you accessing your email via the web, or via a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird?
Wasn't trying to be "snarky" at all... Was just asking a general question and thought maybe someone else may have recently gone through a situation such as mine lately, or maybe a moderator, (such as yourself), might have a idea as to how long it might take... I by no means am in no hurry and am awaiting patiently...
I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings when I made the original post or any replies I have made, but I guess I did. I was merely inquiring information to my problem, that is all!!! The comment about the mods on the forum may have been worded incorrectly,
but I would have thought it would be a moderator, not a member, to point out that a verification email should have been sent out!! You had only pointed out for me to clearing cookies and cache, when as a moderator, you should have informed me to be awaiting a verification email... I am in no way trying to tell anyone how to do their job here, but the latter would have been a better response, and I probably would have only asked the question as to how long that might take!
The auto generated email wasn't sent to me until I sent an actual email to the forum, (yesterday), not when I actually changed my email, (Friday), here on the forum... So, in reality, the verification email wasn't sent when I applied for the change, (as you so kindly pointed out)... To be "snarky", (if I'm understanding the word you are trying to use here), you might want to check your facts before you try to do your job as a moderator!!! Hasn't been very helpful to this point!!!
I am still trying to grasp the concept of what email client I am using has to do with this? Are you trying to ask me if I have checked my inbox and or spam folders? The answer is yes, (if you read the entire post you would have seen I replied to Liscab about this)... Have I received an email from the forum? Yes, an auto generated message
only after I sent an email inquiring about my problem,
not when I actually changed my email address on my account... The auto generated message I received was only in response to the question about the change... I am still awaiting a link to verify it...patiently I might add...
