Okay so from my understanding ggtb's DO NOT have serial numbers, but this one does but its polished off.
Got this today from a member and noticed it after inspection. Can you shed any light please?

No GGTB have had serial numbers. The new steel tubes also do not. Someone added that to the tube.

Maybe someone engraved it on themselves. If i'm not wrong earlier ggtb comes with engraved GG logo thats all but not serial, correct me if i'm wrong.
Sorry to know that you got into some dishonest deal mac. Hope it can be resolve soon.

Just for the hell of it, check the numbers against the wiki DB.

If it's found to be a hoax, email the seller and ask the history of the piece. If its found not to be an authentic piece, email the aeller baxk and advise that the piece was extremely rare find worth 15 time what you paia for it.
