I'm not sure if theres something wrong with my Atty or not, so I wanted to see what you guys thought before I emailed Tony about replacing it.
When I popped open my first cart with my atty, I pulled it out to take off the foil lid. When I did that, I noticed the mesh that was on the atty's bridge wasn't flat, it was sticking up, and it hooked onto the cotton filler inside the cartridge and pulled it out. I carefully pushed the filler back into the cartridge, and used an eyeglass screw driver to try and flatten the mesh. This didn't do any good because every time I take the atty out the same thing happens.
The reason I think this is a problem is:
First, I bought two starter kits, one black and one pink. The pink one is not having this issue, and the second atty that came with my black one doesn't seem (I haven't used it yet) to have the problem.
Secondly, it seems I have to top off my cartridge every couple hits. It seems because the atty is pulling out the fiber, its never staying nicely in the cartridge. Again, the pink one is not having this issue. We've only had to fill it twice so far, and both times, the cartridge was pretty empty.
Lastly, I seem to be getting a lot of juice in my mouth. I'm assuming it has to do with me having to keep pushing the filler back into the cartridge. Again, my wife who has the pink one hasn't had any juice in her mouth yet at all.
I went to grab my PTB to put into the cartridge, thinking that since its not a fiber filler like the stock ones are, I wouldn't have the issue, but unfortunately it seems my wife just bought the plain Lipton tea bags. I tried using that, but it worked horribly as a filler (it soaked up the liquid really good, but didn't distribute it to the atty at all).
I'm hesitant to use my second atty since if this one dies, or I have to ship it back, I want to make sure I still have a fresh atty to use. I haven't smoked one cigarette since this arrived, and I don't want to be stuck in the position with two dead atty's and have to smoke them until replacements come in.
Sorry for such a long post, I just wanted to get the forums thoughts. Could this be user error or a genuine problem with the atty? Besides this, I LOVE my sidesho. I haven't smoked one normal cigarette since it arrived, and that alone makes it worth twice the money I paid for it.
