Questions about Riva 901 cartridges

I ordered a Riva 901 for the wife, so far she's pretty happy with dripping and cartomizers. Today she wanted to try out the cartridge thing and they don't seem to be working properly. It seems the wad of filler doesn't quite reach the bridge of the atty, resulting in persistent dry atty. I purposely left the filler sticking out a bit to see if it was being pushed in by the atty bridge and it's not, nor am I seeing a little divot like I'm used to with my 510.

All of the photos I've seen of 901 cartridges appear to be whistle-tip style. The cartridges that came in this 901 kit are all round and seem to be exactly the same as my 510 cartridges. Are the 901 and 510 carts truly interchangeable? Did we get the wrong carts in the 901 kit? Or are we just missing something?

I noticed the same issues with mine. I thought I was just doing it wrong and switched over to my cartomizers and dripping.

Yeah, for some reason the RIVA 901 kits come with 510 carts.
But, they also come with a bonus LR 901 atomizer....

Oh yeah, we found the LR atty (and thanks for that! Very happy with our Liberty Flights experience) Just wasn't sure if 510 and 901 carts were actually the same thing or not. I had an extra drip tip around so wifey is still covered. Either she'll forget about it or I'll end up buying some 901 carts one of these days
