Atty & Drip Shield Suggestions Please

I figured out what I want for max capacity, now I just have to find a decent atomizer and maybe a drip shield...but I'd like to skip some of the purchasing hassle .

Everybody has a favorite, all I have are two 510 LR attys that I messed up by de-bridging and de-wicking when I was bored and screwing around one morning. I'm pretty unbiased, though the 306 my friend just got in is pretty nifty. If it'll last, I'm willing to spend around $30...of course I'd prefer to spend less, but ya'll know how that is.

I'd recommend bridgeless LR 306's either from avidvaper.com or empiremods.com. There are cheap knock-off drip shields at many sites, but I stick with the originals from empiremods.com. Stock can be limited, but Keith is an awesome guy and I'd rather give him my business.

EDIT: if you go with the above suggestion, grab a couple of the XL 306 delrin drip tips from either site. They are a bit longer and IMO give a better vape than the shorter 306 drip tips. Your mouth isn't as close to the atty and it helps with the spitting you get out of 306's occasionally.

So Empire mods is out of XL delrin drip tips, so I headed on over to Avid Vaper. Apparently right now there's a sale on Cisco spec 306 atomizers, 2 for $20 and a free drip tip (+1.50 for XL delrin). Unless I can find a vendor with free shipping for a single XL delrin drip tip (lol) I'm going to have to place two orders and pop for shipping twice anyway since I'm pretty sold on the drip shields from Empire mods and the lower cost on the 510/510 extension adapter.

So the question is, do I save $15 and get only 1 306 LR atty from Empire, or do I jump on the sale for the Cisco spec atomizers? Are Cisco spec attys worth the money in your opinion?

Being the old fart that I am, I like a common ordenary 510 atty about as well as any. The resistance value of an atty is simply a matter of personal taste, but I will say that with a little thought almost any atty can be set up to deliver what you want.
The 510-T atty (wick plate removed) only has one side air hole, so it does better with a drip well than it does with a drip shield. The other side of the coin is the 306 is a little airy, so it does better with a drip shield. The combinations are endless, but there is always a way.

The cisco 306's are worth it in my opinion. I love the 306's from empiremods, but the cisco's are simply more consistent. I get a little variance in draw between empire 306's from time to time, but every cisco 306 I've ordered has vaped pretty much the same.

Alright, got 2 Cisco 306 2ohm atomizers with one XL drip tip from Avid Vaper and a 510 to 510 connector and drip shield from Empire Mods. Total cost, $42...wifey will not be happy. I think that does it for purchases for me for a while.
