If the battery is rapidly heating when you use those atty's it could suggest that the atty's have a short circuit on them. It's also possible for a faulty adapter to cause a short. You can verify this by testing the atty and adapter with a multi meter (resistance test or continuity test). Multi meters can be bought cheaply and are useful to have if you are using mods.
If the atty's have a short they will indicate a very low resistance. The adapter should not show continuity between the the centre contact and the threads.
This is a safety issue and I would strongly suggest not using the atty's and/or adapter until you work out what's wrong. Short circuits can cause battery's to overheat and explode. Protected
batteries (which are recommended for use in e-cig mods) are supposed to shut off in the event of a short circuit to prevent this happening. Are you using protected
batteries?
A possible cause of short circuits on atomisers is if you over tighten them onto the
mod. This can crush the insulator under the centre post on the connector and cause a short circuit. It is rare but some can be faulty from the outset.
