Hi Guys,
I have a strange problem and I cannot figure out what has caused it, hoping one of you can help.

I have a Riva 510 and ordered one of the new Type B Ego-T Atty's from Cignot which arrived yesterday. Filled a tank, after blowing out the atty, fired it up and loved it, thought after a lot of searching I'd found my set up. Vaped on it all day no problems, battery ran out last night and put it on the charger and grabbed one of my regular Joye 510 batteries and screwed it on and used it maybe 10 times, worked fine, then unscrewed everything and went to bed. Woke this morning, excited to get my morning vape from the tank. Screwed the atty and tank to my Riva batt and nothing..... Blue light illuminates, atty is not firing. Screwed the joye batt back on, works fine.... So, battery problem I thought, screwed a fluxomizer on to the Riva battery and it works fine

I am confused... battery is working on something else, atty and tank are working on the joye batt but no on the Riva, what could be the problem? I took the atty off and blew it out, dried it as much as possible, dried all the battery contacts but still no success.

Really hope someone can shed some light on this and sorry for the long post.

Thanks.

Sounds like possibly the center pin of the Atty may be pushed in and not making contact with your Riva (possibly) flip that Atty upside down threads up, look at that center pin on the Atty, if it's pushed in just a very little bit take something like a needle very carefully pry up that center pin just a tad so it is higher then the outside rim. Now try screwing it back onto your Riva

mwa, that did the trick.... I just thought of that possibility and went to another room to get a paper clip to 'pull' it up a bit and then came back refreshed the forum saw your post and gave it a try.... working great again.

Thank you so much, my morning cravings can now be quashed :)

ECF to the rescue once again!!!

I think I may be having this problem with one of my attys but I can't see a center pin...I can't see it in any of my attys? I'm not mechanically inclined so maybe I am missing something? thanks!

If you look at the threads on the atty that screw into your battery, you'll notice that in the center there is a piece that isn't connected to the threads. This is the center "pin" or post that were talking about.

The center pin/post makes contact with the battery and the current flows thru it to the atomizer coil. After heating up the coil, the current flows back to the threads and to the battery completing the circuit.
