I want to order some good attys for my 1st Reo 2 18490 which is flying across the country as we speak...

I don't mind shelling out to get the goods so I'm looking at the HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper

Is this good and does it work on the Reo?
Should I get long barrel or just the standard?
I assume 1.5ohm?
Do I need a drip shield & 510 to 510 adapter?

I just want to make sure I get the correct gear and ship once

Thanks Reo peoples... :)

Congrats on your REO! You are a Reonaut!

Some people swear by those attys. I do love the vapor and flavor. But they don't last for me, so not worth my investment. I use the Joye LR attys. I get them in bulk at here. I buy the 510 and the 306. For me the price is right and they work and last great!

Here is a thread about the HH.357:

I don't know how much experience you have with attys in general, but personally I would not advise spending the money for an HH357 as a "starter atty"

The Joye 510s are good. Or, you might like to try the Cisco spec attys from the same site as the hh357. Much cheaper, perceived to be a "better" atty, and very popular. Then in a few weeks/months you will know if you want to try the 357s.

Good luck, and welcome to the Reo community

Cheers nerak will have a read... just wondering if they are that much better than the IKV 510s I can get locally for half the price...?

I have used the IKV. I like the LR i06. The thing about the HH.357 is people either really love them or have problems with them. I really can not recommend them for a first atty. The learning curve on them can be frustrating.

I feel you take a chance that they will be the perfect atty for you. If you can spend the money and not be too upset if they don't work for you then give them a try.

I would rather have two i06 myself.

Thanks for the welcome I'm not very experienced been dripping. But I have been using IKVs after playing with Joye 510s etc and so am thinking of getting the HHs to get the best out of my Provari & Reo mods which are on the way. I think if I'm going to order and ship I'd rather try the best version seems like all attys have some sort of learning curve just part of the fun. So I'll probably bite the bullet & give em a go see what all the fuss is about.

Also I will be "learning" on the Provari & Reo with IKVs then down the track the 357s should come and I'll be ready I hope...

Thanks for advise...

Not having used the hh357 I can't speak for them but of the others you have listed I personally like the Cisco 1.5 306's the best. They are my atty of choice. Other than my chalice RBA but they are $150 soma little different

YEP just got them today the 1.5 306 is perfect!!! The HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer gets too hot and spits the HH.357 Long Barrel Hybrid 510 Atomizer seems good but the 306 is bomb. I was getting a little frustrated lately using 1.8 510s just wasnt getting the TH vapor or flavor 306s they hit just right so glad I got 3 to play with...

So all of a sudden the 306 i've been using all day just stopped working... Any idea why or what I can do? I have 2 more but at this rate it wont be economical... LOL

Sometimes they just do that.

When first using atty's I tried the 306. My first two, one lasted a day, the next only a couple hours. But it was user error.

When you don't get vapor and try to keep vaping the coil gets really hot. If you squonk on that hot coil it can pop it. That is what I did to my first two. It worked, but not much vapor, then squonked and nothing. I have learned to draw without firing a couple times to cool it down then squonk and vape. Once in awhile though I will forget and lose another atty!
