atty overnite..

which is better, leaving the atty wet overnite, or blowing it out. i have read some say its better to keep it wet, that when its dry something crystalizes on the heating coil, and yet others say that keeping it wet overnite may cause clogging. so whats the verdict??

My 1st atty ran like a dream for 3 months and the only time I blew it out was when it got flooded. It stayed wet all the time. YMMV

I never blow my attys nor clean them.
So far, during my 11 months jorney, I lost only 1 trying it with 6 volts mod.

I'd suggest NEVER let them dry.

If you change liquids... suck it up for a few drags (or more if you are using an oil based eliquid) and it will change over. The only thing that took forever to get rid of (old liquid) was a POTENT Anise eLiquid I made myself.

i am pretty new to this so excuse my question if it seems silly. but others have said that their attys stopped performing as well after a few weeks because of 'gunk' . by not cleaning them, do you notice a loss in performance at all?

you are welcome to ask anything.
IMO only a few liquid could gunk or clog your attys

I not only "let" mine dry, I purposefully dry them completely to do the "dry burn" after ultrasonically cleaning them.

Not preaching one method over another, but in 7 months I haven't lost a single atomizer to it being dry.

I stuff a paper towel in mine at night to dry them out and get all residuals and dont lose any from it and it makes for changing flavors quick

wow, i kinda expected both sides, maybe it doesnt really make a difference if you leave it wet or dry at nite, since both opinions yield good results for them.

I like the paper towel in em at night cause it really takes all the juice out and makes for swapping flavors great and not much residual taste from the previous flavor

The instructions I received for my wife's Joye 510 was to take the atty out at night and place it end up on a paper towel.....At least that is what the company suggests...The Ego that I have, I don't worry about it...I leave it in all night...change the battery in the morning, add a few drops and off I go...

i do battery end up so it can drain out the mesh. i stick some paper towel up in there as well over night.

not sure if it works better battery side down, maybe someone can enlighten me?

Battery side up will do a better job of draining the e liquid.
